Best Immigration Lawyer

I came across Getson & Schatz PC when looking for legal assistance for an RFE of my immigration process, an EB2-NIW application. The first contact I had with Brian looked "too good to be true"; he replied my email within minutes and offered to have a first phone call, free of charge, something that i...s very unusual among immigration lawyers- a very happy surprise, though. When we spoke, I was amazed by his speed of thought and to the fact that he already had a line of defense set up on his mind. During the 5 months we worked together to build the RFE response, Brian always replied my emails and concerns fast enough so I don't freaked out. The outcome of my RFE is an approved greencard process, just waiting for the interview now. I couldn't be happier and more satisfied with all Brian has done to my specific case, as I don't hold a very usual profession and I know that my case was challenging. He made my dream come true, when I read the word "approved" from my case, and I absolutely won't hesitate to refer Brian and Getson & Schatz for anyone that asks me about immigration attorneys.

NIW petition approved for a research scientist!

I recently became a permanent resident after working with Brian Getson on submitting my National Interest Waiver petition. I first met Brian at a scientific research conference where he gave an informative seminar on the immigration options available to research scientists with advanced degrees. He o...ffered free consultations and it was quite apparent that Brian was highly experienced in representing academic scientists. Brian possesses all qualities you would want in an attorney: deeply knowledgeable, detail-oriented, highly organized, and quick to respond to questions and concerns. It was a pleasure working with him and I would highly recommend Brian!

Brian's Excellent Representation Helped Achieve Our GC!

I highly recommend Brian Getson to the aspirants of GC in NIW/Eb1 categories in the USA. I am a researcher of Indian origin and had been working in the USA on H1B visa in the field of Biology/Medical Entomology/Vector Biology. I also undertook an industry job for a couple of years but returned to aca...demia. At the time of application (2016), I worked in the capacity of a researcher at a State University in the Mid-west. While I was searching for attorneys, a friend of mine who had achieved GC through Brian recommended him. Brian was kind to offer a free-of-cost skype consultation and answered a myriad of questions and concerns (over months) before I sought his legal services for my Eb1a/NIW applications. Brian was considerate of our financial situation and accepted our request to pay his legal fees in installments. At the time of GC application, I had a total of seven publications (best publication in highest impact factor 5) and some 120 plus citations; so just enough for an Eb1a standard. It took 5-6 months of a hard work between Brian (and his team) and I to prepare applications. En route, we encountered difficulties in what the application should reflect. I had the view to present the document with deep scientific/accurate and factual information while Brian’s experience/expertise put things in a solid legal perspective and helped prepare the document suitable for USCIS. I must share some cautionary advice to all aspirants: 1) since attorneys are not scientists, attorneys see things with legal perspective, unlike scientists. As such, differences in perspectives will cause difficulties in client-attorney relationships at times, 2) both, the applicant and the attorney have to do lots of hard work; at times, it will appear to the applicant that he/she is doing much more work than the attorney is. While it may be so, attorney’s help definitely carves the application such that it meets USCIS’s legal standards for a GC. After submission, it took almost a year for the processing of our applications at USCIS (Nebraska Center). We never got any RFE or interview or any other documentation related trouble on our applications. Both of our I-140s for NIW and Eb1a were approved on same day; I believe Brian’s strong legal documentation left no room for a doubt. In summation, following descriptors define Brian aptly: a prompt communicator, kind, understanding, highly knowledgeable, provided legally strong representation and accurate guidance. Since approval of our GC, Brian has been kind to help some of my other friends as well. With God’s grace and Brian’s help, my wife and I could succeed in achieving our green cards in 2017. With Brian's guidance, I hope you will too. All the best!
