Excellent Employment Attorney

I have worked with Brian on several matters over the last few years. He has assisted my clients in labor disputes and non-compete situations. He has also assisted me with due diligence issues on business acquisition transactions. Brian's expertise with respect to employment law is at the highest l...evel.

Best lawyer for my pregnancy discrimination and retaliation defense case I could find. Excellent representation.

Being terminated after informing my bosses of my pregnancy was devastating for our family, not to mention it is a terrible time to find new employment. Not only did I lose a high paying job, but also a promised partnership. The last thing I wanted to do is deal with lawyers and the stress of a lawsu...it, but after asking around, Mr. Waerig's name came highly recommended. When I contacted him, he spent hours looking over my evidence and coming up with options for my case, and was always available to talk to us during the year and a half process. I never felt that he was putting me at risk so that he could improve his financial gains. He was encouraging, friendly, has a super positive vibe, and is refreshingly honest and reasonable. He spent countless hours with us over the phone, in meetings, and emails over the duration of my case. He was able to get us a great settlement without having to go to trial, and only received payment in the end, which was based on my settlement amount. He was reliably conscientious and was never antagonistic to our opposition, yet was extremely effective. Being involved in a lawsuit is stressful, but Mr. Waerig was able to keep it positive and as upbeat as possible, and even injected some much needed humor at times. I highly recommend this confident, energetic, experienced, and very knowledgeable lawyer for any labor disputes. I still return to him for advice to this day when making employment decisions.

SUCCESSFUL APPEAL

I was recently fortunate enough to be referred to Mr. Brian Waerig when I needed assistance with an unemployment benefits denial appeal. I could not be happier with the outcome of my case. Mr. Waerig was conscientious, thorough and very knowledgeable about my problem. I was kept informed every ste...p of way until the successful resolution of my appeal. In addition, Brian is a very personable and caring attorney. I would not hesitate to seek him out should I ever require employment related legal counsel in the future, and can recommend him wholeheartedly, enthusiastically and without reservation.

Professional, Knowledgeable, Honest, Trustworthy, THE BEST

Brian is an absolute professional whom I highly recommend. He is truly excellent! Brian successfully represented me in an employment matter which involved a restrictive covenant. I am truly very fortunate to have him as my Attorney.

Personable approach to effective employment claim resolution

Our organization engaged Brian to defend an employment claim that came from a termination and layoff in one of our departments. Brian worked very well with our team and insurer to successfully resolve the claim and avoid unnecessary time and costs. He was thorough in gathering all of the relevant b...ackground information and clearly communicated with all parties in a consistently timely way. His experience and professionalism were clearly evident, and he was able to navigate a potentially emotional situation calmly and pragmatically. At all times he ensured we were clear on our options and understood both the facts and outside factors that really helped us use good judgment in reaching a resolution everyone could agree to without needing to go to trial. We would highly recommend working with Brian and would certainly utilize his services again.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
