Stephen Victor Yarnell

Attorney Stephen V. Yarnell concentrates on handling complex commercial and employment matters.  He has extensive litigation experience in federal and Pennsylvania courts as well as the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and the Occupational and Safety Administration over his 30 year career.

Mr. Yarnell has particular experience handling employment discrimination, unfair labor practice proceedings, and Occupational and Safety Act (OSHA) proceedings before federal and Pennsylvania courts.  In addition, Mr. Yarnell has successfully handled for employers more than twenty union organizing campaigns.

A graduate of Earlham College and the University of Pittsburgh Law School, Mr. Yarnell’s experience includes work as a Law Clerk to the Honorable John G. Brosky of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania and a Staff Attorney to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, where he worked as a clerk to the Honorable Delores Sloviter and the Honorable Joseph Weis. In addition, Mr. Yarnell has conducted numerous training programs on a variety of employment, NLRB and OSHA topics.

From his experience, Mr. Yarnell has come to believe that while some disputes must be litigated aggressively, others may be avoided or minimized through strategic advance planning by clients and their counsel.

Mr. Yarnell is an active member in his community of Narberth, Pennsylvania, where he lives with his wife Barbara and their children.
