I've been in the legal field since the mid-1980s, first having worked as a legal secretary, and slowly advancing my career to paralegal. While married and with two children, I decided to return to school to obtain my legal degree. For three and one-half years, I worked during the day, attended law school at night, and relied heavily on my husband for support, especially with three children at home (had a third child shortly before beginning law school).
Although my educational path was not typical, I'm glad that I moved forward with getting my law degree. I thorughly enjoy working with my clients and getting the best legal outcome for them.

Endorsements from fellow lawyers are an important consideration for many when selecting the right attorney. Be the first to endorse your colleague!
Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.
