Edward Patrick Kelly

Edward is an experienced attorney who advises clients on corporate governance, business transactions and the purchase, sale, development and lease of commercial real estate.

He represents businesses and individuals in a full range of corporate matters including:

• entity formation
• mergers and acquisitions
• shareholders' agreements
• LLC operating agreements
• limited partnerships
• joint ventures
• confidentiality/non-compete agreements
• commercial loans

He assists clients with a wide variety of real estate transactions by structuring and negotiating:

• commercial, office and retail leases and subleases
• the purchase, sale and development of commercial real estate
• secured lending transactions
• real estate loans

Before Fox Rothschild

Prior to joining Fox, Edward was a partner at a law firm in Media, Pennsylvania, where he chaired the Commercial Real Estate and Business Transactions Department. He previously worked at several law firms in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Beyond Fox Rothschild

Edward is very active in his community. He represents the First Ward on the Board of Commissioners of Springfield Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, where he previously served on the Zoning Hearing Board. Edward is also a Springfield Township Republican Committeeman. He serves on the Delco Run for Heroes 5k Planning Committee and as a coach at the Springfield Athletic Association.

He is a class agent for the Alumni Association of Malvern Preparatory School, a member of the University of Pennsylvania Alumni Association and vice president of its Class of 1996 Board. Additionally, Edward was past president of the Boston University School of Law Philadelphia Young Alumni Council. He was previously a member of the editorial board of the Philadelphia Bar Reporter.
