our case is still on going but i gotta tell you if im not a pain in the ass with calling and texting the sky aint blue...been 7 days and he has pushed for a quicker court hearing contacted the probation officer visited my wife the first day in jail..up front and VERY honest there's know bullshit with him.. he will tell u the worse and tell ya the best... like i said our case is not finished yet.. but i was blessed to have a attorney like this... I was falsely accused of assaulting a woman who I never before met. She entered grocery store (Giant in Coplay) walked over to block me and started beating on my chest and breasts with both her fists. When she wouldn't stop I used the small shopping cart I had to push her away from me. I acted in self defense. Store surveillance video shows this. Police lied and said I entered store where she was shopping and I attacked her. This is not true. She attacked me. Mr. Bokas sided with police and woman who attacked me telling me that no one would believe what happened to me. Surveillance video was not being used to contest the false statement of police. He would not tell me why video would not be presented. I was told I had to plead guilty to these false charges and pay any medical bills my attacker claimed. Mr. Bokas acted only in the interest of my attacker and told me I would be sorry if I had video shown to magistrate. Mr. Bokas has yet to reply to email sent to him om May 19, 2023. He has no interest in providing a defense I should have received. While waiting for preliminary hearing I had a bad blood sugar episode and started swetting and shaking (I am an insulin dependent diabetic and he had a list of my many medical problems). His reaction was to accuse me of being a drunk. I am not even a social drinker. His dislike of me was very obvious. He should have just told me that he did not like me and was not the one who should represent me. I am a 70 year old woman who has a clean record which he was more than willing to destroy. He has refused to discuss anything with me and just wants to order me to do what he tells me to do. Horrible experience! If you need a defense lawyer look elsewhere.
