To provide context for this recommendation, I would like to preface this review by saying that I myself am a practicing attorney with almost 10 years of experience, licensed and having worked in NY and NJ. That said, since I do not practice nor have any knowledge or experience in commercial real esta...te transactions, my father and I hired Mr. Tinovsky to assist with the purchase of a NNN ("triple Net") lease under IRS section 1031. This was a multi-million dollar transaction involving the purchase of an out of state property and franchise lease. This deal would have NEVER closed without Mr. Tinovsky's legal assistance. He is the most competent, professional, resourceful, and responsive attorney I have ever worked with.Unlike most lawyers who filter communications through their secretaries and legal assistants, he personally answered every call/message/email promptly, often working very late nights and weekends to expeditiously resolve outstanding issues. He saved us thousands of dollars by researching mortgage and insurance options as well as out of state attorneys, surveyors and engineers to find the quickest and most cost effective means of performing our due diligence under the contract. He also negotiated favorable mortgage terms with our lender. He meticulously researched every corporate entity involved or potentially involved in the transaction and we luckily avoided the purchase of a fraudulent NNN lease and ultimately closed on a different property. Mr. Tinovsky is the VERY RARE breed of attorney who will take the time to listen to his client's concerns and answer the client's questions. He focuses and prioritizes in the present but is always prepared with and protects his client with a contingency plan B, C, and D in case something should go wrong. At the end of the day, Mr. Tinovsky not only zealously represented us but he also saved us a lot of money. Notably he is also tech savvy and his office is easily and quickly accessible from NY, NJ, and PA. I HIGHLY recommend his services to anyone in the tri-state area.
