Michael Kevin Parlow

Mike has represented me on all of my major cases, and has never disappointed me. Ive called him collect from jail on several occasions and my calls were always answered by one of his kind assistants who would let mike know i needed to speak to him. That same week Mike would come to the jail to talk t...o me in person and left me reassured that everything was being taking care of. Michael Parlow is my hero!!!! I was wrongly accused of shoplifting and a friend recommended Michael . Contacting him was the best decision I could have made. I recently was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment after my ex wife came to my work place, started a fight and ended up pushing me and then falling after I pushed her back. I was instructed by a friend to contact Mike and he immediately had me come i...n for a consult. He took all my information and my whole story but, never once led on that he would be able to get me out of this situation. He did say his main goal was to make sure i didnt have a felony but, never promised me that i wouldnt do some kind of jail time. He knew I was freaking out but told me to remain calm through this and to keep a level head. Mike kept in touch with me through everything, even checking in just to see how I was doing because my ex and I still had custody exchanges that needed to be done. Mike took me to the preliminary hearing and after an intense conversation with the DA and the arresting officer, he was able to get the aggravated assault dropped and was left with the simple assault. When we finally went to trial, Mike still wasn't certain he could get me off entirely or, if he was, he never led on that he could but, in any case, after yet another intense conversation with the DA and reviewing a surveillance video that we weren't given until the day of the trial, Mike was able to get my sentence reduced to a couple of fines, a year of probation, and mandatory anger management classes. I've heard horror stories of lawyers who take your case, tell you you'll be fine, and then you never hear from them again until the trial. I even had this experience myself with a custody lawyer and am now fighting my own battle to get my son but, through the whole case, Mike had me come in repeatedly, called and texted, and even had his secretary return my calls for him if he was in court. I'd say Mike went above and beyond for me, always kept in touch, but more importantly, never once led on that I would get out of this ok. I respected that the most because nothing is worse than false hope.

My life changed in March when I came home and the police handcuffed me and executed a search warrant of my property. I was facing felony charges and potentially up to 4 years in jail. I met with three attorneys and felt the most comfortable with Michael Parlow. I was a complete mess and his office... made sure that I met him on the same day that I called to make an appointment. He listened to my case and made me no promises but told me that he has a game plan and is very confident that I will be satisfied with the results. He told me to be patient and have trust in him. I am not a patient person but I took his advice and it was the best decision I ever made. His office staff kept me informed every step of the way. Michael met with me seven times and made sure to review everything before each hearing. He also returned all of my phone calls. He made me feel like I was his only case and that really made me have confidence that this whole thing may turn out fine after all. The only reason I knew I wasn't his only case is because every time I went to the office his waiting room was packed. Even though the waiting room was packed he always met me on time and never rushed me. He answered all of my questions and it was really appreciated. He never made me any promises but his goal was to get my felony dropped and make sure I didn't go to jail. He succeeded!! Instead of being in jail and having my reputation tarnished, I am working and recently just received a raise. I am so grateful and happy that I picked him to represent me. He was also very affordable. He was worth every dollar. He doesn't nickel and dime you. He truly hit a grand slam for me. I hope I never find myself in this position again but if I do he will be my first call!
