Michael Kevin Parlow

Mr. Parlow helped me out previously on a DUI I had gotten before I started nursing school, and helped me get it expunged. During break from school, I was pulled over after working at the bar and having only 2 drinks and was arrested for a DUI by a state trooper after apparently failing a sobriety tes...t due to nervousness. I was hysterical and called his office over the weekend. Mr. Parlow got back to me the next morning, on a weekend, and immediately started working on my case. I was in jeopardy of not being able to finish nursing school or get my license. We were able to contact each other discreetly with no direct mail coming to my house as I lived with my family and I did not disclose my legal trouble the second time around. Thankfully, he was able to speak to the state trooper on the day of my prelim hearing, and was able to drop it down to a speeding ticket with no points. Michael Parlow is an excellent lawyer. In my personal experience, I was facing two separate charges. One for possessoin of marijuana and the other was a DUI. I had no clue what would happen to me or who to go to for help. When my charges came in the mail so did all the lawyer letters, as most of ...you might know, asking to represent me. Once I was done reading them all I settled on two different law firms to choose from. Michael Parlow was willing to see me and hear me out for a free consultation while the other one wanted to do things by phone. Once meeting him, Michael knew what to do right away. He immediately took action to help me out with my case without seeing a penny from me up front. All he had to go on was my word that I would be able to pay him and he took my word. A couple of days later i made my first payment only to find out that he has already written letters and made phone calls to people to help me out. Through his efforts, i was able to get both cases lumped together and i became eligible for ARD. If I could give Mike Parlow more than 5 stars I would.... My husband had an accident with a gun. Luckily no one was hurt. The local DA not only charged him with endangerment, but also attached a felony charge when we didn't plead guilty to the initial charges. Mike Parlow was so helpful with helpin...g us make decisions. He showed confidence in the case from the moment we met him. Never in trouble with the law ever we were scared, nervous, and unsure of everything. Mike was reassuring and made us feel comfortable. He never made promises he couldn't keep, and always gave us worse and best case senerios. Final result was amazing. The possibilities of jail time and he got 1 yr probation and no felony charges. With this being the first time we had to hire a lawyer we didn't have any trust at first. It's hard to trust someone with your future that you don't even know. After just a few visits we were confident that we made the right choice with Mike. He was always available for questions no matter how minor they were. And believe me we had a bunch. I can't thank him enough for all of his help. We will hopefully never need a lawyer again, but I'll be sure to only refer him to friends or family.

I was pulled over by a state cop while i was traveling on route i95 north. The copped pulled me over saying that i was following too closely and as he approached my car he says he smells a strong odor of marijuana. He asked me to get out the car, asked me a series of questions until i told him there ...were drugs in the car. He arrested me and charged me with several charges. I was charged with possession of a controlled substance in the intent to deliver, manufacturing drugs, drug paraphernalia and so on. Once he felt like i had a good chance of winning my case we then talked about how much it would be for him to represent me. He kept me informed, he made sure i understood everything that can happen, he stayed in touch with me though the whole case, from the preliminary hearing all the way to trial. He allowed me to make my own decisions but he also made me feel like he was fighting this case as is he was the defendant, and that there let me know i could trust him. When i had a chance to take the deal he looked at me with confidence and said i know i can win this. He went far and wide to get the dash cam video from the police officer. He gathered research from similar cases. He did everything he was supposed to do in order to let it be known that even though i did have illegal drugs on me, i was wrongfully stopped by that officer. I never felt left out or in the dark about anything because he made sure he mailed me every piece of paperwork pertaining my case,he made sure i understood everything in the paperwork and made sure we had meetings before and after every court date just to make sure i was OK and understand what was about to happen next. Once he seen from watching the video repeatedly that i was wrongfully stopped he knew there was no case against me so he filed he motions and got my charges dropped.
