What a terrible, terrible, experience with this firm after being fooled into an illusion that I was in good hands. Over $7,000.00 spent with absolutely no result and then they have the nerve to continually call me to put money in an account. Very quick to contact you for payment and not any real lega...l help. Please steer clear from this law firm at all costs unless you plan on spending tens of thousands of dollars. I finally got wise and called for few other opinions after basically being robbed and found out that a motion to change venue hearing could not be defended and could (should) be worked out of court. Completely mislead, this was the final straw for me. They were ready to rob me again of thousands of dollars and waste time and resources instead of actually working for the money and settle this out of court. So either there is little to no experience or they were just trying to take all my money, I think that latter. Which, by the way, is extremely disheartening as I am a single Father desperately seeking more time with my daughter and having to scrap money as I can. Additionally, they assigned a lawyer to me that was fresh out of college or something and way too timid, not aggressive at all. I think she is in the wrong profession and should be serving ice cream or cotton candy. Just all around horrible experience that I wish I could take back. Over a year later and I could have possibly had this settled with a more affordable competent GREEDY a la cart bill you for sneezing law firm. HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please do not hire this law firm. Run and look elsewhere. P.S. wish I could chose no stars.

My experience with Caron Gaff has been horrific. For seven years all she did was request more and more money and did nothing for it. Every time my phone rang and my caller ID showed her name. It was to inform me that my retainer needed to be replenished. In the breakdown of all of what my money was... spent on, it was about 5% court filing, 10% correspondence and phone conversations with my husband's lawyer and 85% of phone conversations with me. When I spoke to her over the phone I was being charged and most of the conversation was me refreshing her memory on who I was and brought her up to date on my case. And the whole time she had the timer on clocking the length of the conversation to pay herself out of my retainer account. Seven years and thousands of dollars, including a loan from my 401K and nothing to show for it but emails and phone calls. One of her famous comments to "me" (when I felt overwhelmed and considered dropping my case because of my finances being stretched), she would say " I care about you and want to see you get what you deserve" you've come to far to stop now". Since I couldn't come up with the $1500 requested to keep my retainer balance, It was suggested that I can make a deposit monthly to build up my balance. And you better believe every month I got a call from her office for approval to withdraw from my debit account. In the mean time my case was at a stand still and my account would have time to build up. Then I received a call from her office and she told me that my husband's and his lawyer wanted to move forward with my case, at this point I had built up a balance of $1900+. I was fine with it and was grateful that I had some money in my account to work with. Then during the same phone call with Gaff's office they ask me when can I have more money to put in my account. I asked about the $1900 that was already there to be used, I was told that, it would be used up within the next week or so just in filing papers...That was it, I had had enough, I told her I was pulling out. There was no way I could come up with another cent. I was still paying on the 401K loan that I got for the first $5000, Covid epidemic caused my hours at work to be cut, my utility bills were past due, my home runs on oil heat and I was facing winter months and heating oil cost was unpredictable and I had medical bills. So I ask her to drop my case. Then I ask if I could please have the $1900+ balance left in my account. All of the sweet talk, promises and we care about you and want to take care of you was gone. I got a NO I can not have my money back, even though it would not be used I couldn't have it back. Me explaining that I can use it because of my financial and employment issues, didn't matter. Not so long ago I spoke with her staff and again ask for a refund I explained I had to have a necessary surgery scheduled for 8/31/22 and that money would be a major help. I was told she would see what she can do. Well I never heard back one way or another. As I write this review I am post operative recovering not working at the time and watching the medical bills pile up. PLEASE do your research when looking for a lawyer. Check AVVO, Social Media, etc.

After receiving an unexpected custody order in the mail, I began searching for a lawyer who specialized in child custody. I contacted and spoke with many local custody lawyers. As this was my first time searching for a lawyer, I wanted to pick the right one for my case. I realized that most of the at...torney offices that I contacted seemed to be very short with their responses and provided minimum information. After placing many calls and beginning to feel defeated, I received a call back from a voicemail that I left at Graff and Associates where I spoke with Caron. She was very personable and took the time to get to know and understand my situation. Caron was genuine and provided me with an abundance of information that left me feeling very optimistic after our conversation. She was very prompt in scheduling a meeting to visit her office so that we could officially prepare for our Master’s hearing. Now almost a year later, and after the Judge’s hearing, I can say that I’m overjoyed that I chose Graff and Associates. I can finally exhale as the stress of custody is now over. Both Caron and Jessica did a PHENOMENAL job in consistently communicating, working very hard in arranging the exhibits needed to present to the judge, and actually LISTENING to what I wanted and taking the necessary steps produce winning case. I pray to never have the need for a custody lawyer again; however, if I had to, I’d feel very confident to have Caron and Jessica in my corner. I would highly recommend Graff and Associates.
