Chris was extremely professional, and very effective in negotiating on our behalf with PennDOT. We, as a company, and individually, were thrilled with the work Chris did for us and we look forward to working with him again if the need arises in the future. Furthermore, we would undoubtedly recommend...
This was a partial taking of industrial land adjoining Interstate 95 in the City of Philadelphia. The client uses the area as a storage area for construction materials. We were able to secure a substantial settlement. In addition to the condemnation matter we are assisting the client in purchasing surplus land owned by the City of Philadelphia to replace that lost in the taking. Please call us to assist you in your matter. 215-628-2868

Knowable lawyer with lots of expertise.
Chris was instrumental in guiding us through the loss of our home due to eminent domain. His expertise and support were invaluable throughout the process, and we were truly grateful to have him represent us. If we ever need assistance in the future, I wouldn’t hesitate to turn to him again. Thank you...
This was a total take of a residential property by PennDOT on part of PennDOT's RT 309 connector project. In addition to obtaining a very favorable settlement, we were able again to negotiate with PennDOT on the size of the taking which enabled the homeowner to sell the remainder to an adjoining business for a substantial windfall. Please feel free to contact us to discuss your matter at 215-628-2868.

Mr Duerr represented my company in an eminent domain issue with PennDot in Delaware County. After several Penndot delays, Chris prevailed and got our company a good settlement. I appreciate his efforts and would recommend him highly
This was a partial taking of a commercial property along the PennDOT RT 322 project. The property owner had approvals for a multi level storage unit project that required complete redesign due to the impacts of the taking. Please feel free to contact us to discuss your matter at 215-628-2868.”

Only Hire Atty Duerr for Eminent Domain Issues
Bottom line...Chris Duerr is the only attorney you should hire for eminent domain. I had not one, but TWO eminent domain issues for the same property (one with township, one with school district). I first hired an attorney who represented he was skilled in eminent domain matters. When it turned o...
As noted above by the client there were two takings. One was in fact a de facto taking, (a taking without the condemning authority filing a declaration of taking). Both takings had created significant impacts on a beautiful historic main line residential property. We were able to resolve both matters, dealing with the conflicting interests of the School District and the Township. Most importantly we were able to secure settlements significantly above what was originally offerd. Please call to discuss how we can help you at 215-628-2868
