Bad attorney

I was recommended to Ms Whitman by a friend who had great luck with her in 2017, but she is not the same attorney now. Ms. Whitman is a nice lady and caring but she is all talk and no action. She messed up my support situation badly. I make a good living but Ms Whitman cost me so much time and mon...ey that my friends and family had to do a fundraiser with my church so I could take time off work to find a new attorney, Ms Whitman talks a good game and for the first few months, but whenever we were in court she bombed it, badly. Ms Whitman and I spent a good chuck of time getting information together for my case and I felt great about our case. That quickly changed when it was our day in court and Ms Whitman let my ex and her attorney ramble on and on about things that Ms Whitman knew weren’t true. She just sat there and didn’t say or do anything about it. When the hearing was over I asked her why she didn’t say anything and she just looked at me with a blank stare as if I was an alien from outer space. The same things happened for every hearing afterwards and what topped the cake even more is when I found out that Ms Whitman was talking with my ex’s attorney and never looped me in to most of their conversations with me. When I asked her what they spoke about she got upset with me, she started ghosting me and then blamed her ghosting on me. I have friends who are now divorced and having a hard time getting support because their ex has learned how to play the support game trying to beat the system. That’s how I would best describe Ms Whitman, she knows how to play the attorney game so she can get your money, pretend like she cares by being all chatty with you but when it came time for her to produce anything, she would ghost me and reappear right before a hearing and dropped the ball so badly on my case that she would blame me and everything else but herself. I hope anyone who is reading this takes what I said seriously and before hiring Ms Whitman because she caused problems for my case that didn’t exist when I hired her. I eventually had to get a second job to hire a new attorney because every attorney I spoke with wanted a large amount upfront and said it would take more time and money to correct the problems that Ms Whitman created than to address the original problems with my case

Great Person 0f an Attorney

I was recommended by a good friend for Miss Patricia Whitman, to be my attorney. Tre traits to describe my attorney, Miss Patricia Whitman. Expertise, genuine care and tenacity. Miss Whitman is a wonderful, loyal person and besides, she is excellent in what she does. All my calls, texts and emails we...re answered very quickly. When punch comes to shove, she will go the extra mile. Miss Whitman has stuck by me through the past two years in dealing with this very stressful case in getting the most precious person to me in this entire world. My grandson. I admire her composure, work ethic and most of all excellent representation. I feel like there is a light at the end of this long tunnel regarding in getting to see and be with my precious grandson, which I have not seen for 2 long years. Miss Patricia Whitman, my attorney made my dream come true, you will always have a very special place in my heart, and although I hope, I would not have to call on you for anymore legal/crises. I hope that we will keep in tough and always be friends. Five Stars is not enough for my attorney Miss Patricia Whitman. I am pressing on and looking up to the sky for 20 stars. God Bless You. XOXO

Do Not Hire She Should Be Disbarred!

DO NOT HIRE HER, please, look for a different attorney, she should be disbarred!!! Her name should be Patricia the Perfect Con Artist. I gave her a large retainer, she was available for the first month or two and then consistently disappeared and around the third month, she was impossible to get a ho...ld of. She caused more problems with my case and created unnecessary stress and complications that didn’t exist before hiring her. It’s 2026, even courts now are phasing to e-filing, they allow cases to be heard online or by phone, but Patricia refuses to handle a case through email and expects clients to be understanding of her inability to type yet she doesn’t make an effort to better her skills. No one expects perfection but she doesn’t even try to use technology such as AI to draft emails or any legal strategy and has admitted that it will take her too long to email strategies, She claims to have a paralegal and assistant and in the year and half that she was my attorney not once did I speak with them or did she ever mention their names and someone at the court shared that she doesn’t have any staff on file with the court.

Recommend for simple cases

Pat is a lovely and caring woman. She was recommended by someone on the Nextdoor app, and after meeting with her, I chose to retain her. The price seemed good. My case was complicated, and after a ~2 years, it did not seem like the case was going anywhere. When some unforeseen circumstances happe...ned, I realized that Pat was not able to bring the case to fruition, and I hired another attorney. If the case is cut and dry and/or straightforward, I would recommend Pat. She is sincerely kind, caring and supportive. However, sometimes kind and caring doesn't bring the case to completion. Therefore, in complicated cases, my recommendation is to go with a large law firm, since their knowledge base required for complicated cases is vast.

She was my lawyer

She was good for a low price at first. She became slow and very hard to contact. I hired a new lawyer only to come to court to find her giving the defendant advice. I want my money back. She has a problem representing men in custody cases.
