Ms. Burke is a Partner with the Law Offices of Karpf, Karpf & Cerutti, P.C., an employment discrimination firm with offices in Center City Philadelphia, Bucks County, PA and Marlton, NJ. The firm handles employment related matters in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. Ms. Burke has tried multiple federal jury trials to successful verdicts on the plaintiff’s side, and frequently litigates in federal and state courts throughout PA and NJ, and DE. Ms. Burke also assists federal sector employees with EEO matters before federal investigative agencies and tribunals. Ms. Burke’s employment litigation background includes appellate work, arguing before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals on numerous occasions, including one panel with retired Associate Supreme Court Justice of the United States Supreme Court, Sandra Day O'Connor, sitting by designation. Prior to working with the firm, Ms. Burke previously held a prestigious judicial internship with the Honorable Carol Sandra Moore Wells, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, as well as spent time with the Federal Defender's Office for the District of Delaware. During her time at the Federal Defender's office, she assisted in white collar defense and appellate work to the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and United States Supreme Court. Ms. Burke is an active member of the Sidney Reitman Employment Law Inn of Court, and is a current member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, Labor & Employment Law Committee. Ms. Burke is a course planner for PBI on litigating emplyoment discrimination matters and reguarly presents at PBI's Annual Employment Law Institute. She regularly presents on employment related matters in both PA and NJ for other organizations as well.
