Kevin L. Hand

I was referred to Kevin Hand by several former clients of his, who were extremely satisfied with services. I was getting divorced and was so overwhelmed, but the minute I met with Kevin, I knew I made the right choice. He immediately allayed my fears and was very empathetic. From that point on, he... took over, and he was professional, intelligent, knowledgeable, supportive and very accessible and genuine. He kept me informed throughout the entire process, and I was, and still am, so impressed with his negotiating skills, thorough knowledge of the laws, and how they pertained to me, and his compassion! Even though I've been divorced for 5 years, I can still pick up the phone with a question and he responds immediately. His assistant, Diane Waterson was amazing also. She helped facilitate every part of the process with me, she is incredibly intelligent and compassionate. She has amazing customer service skills, great attitude and always a pleasure to deal with. Many times I'd call with a question for Kevin and she'd be able to answer it for me. They are an awesome team and I'd highly recommend them to anyone needing a lawyer.

Kevin represented me and still is for my charges for possession of marijuana, paraphernalia, and alcohol. Originally it seemed as if my license was going to be suspended, I'd have multiple fines to pay, probation, and quite a bit of community service to do. I went into his office around June where he... sat my father and I down and thoroughly explained the possible consequences of my arrest, what he was going to try to do to make punishments as benign as possible, and gave me tips for when we had to go to court. The court date rolls around and I ended up with fines that my father so kindly paid, 10 hours of community service of my own choice that i completed in late July within a two day period, and sadly, probation. On the day of court, Kevin told me to expect to hear about which program I'd end up in around September. It is now September 11 and Kevin called me four days ago and told me I have another court date coming up on October 14, but it's only a hearing and I don't have to say anything. I'm going to be in A.R.D. (Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition) for approximately 6 to 12 months so the charges will get expunged. He said there possibly will be a drug testing through either hair or saliva, but i'm prepared. In conclusion, Kevin for the most part was very helpful, seems to know his stuff, and it seems he wants the best for me in my situation. It's ironic that he received the most negative reviews in the practice area he works the most in, but positive reviews regarding criminal defense, which he only does %10 percent of. Because of this, I'd only recommend him for criminal defense.

Kevin helped me with my criminal and civil action against Tullytown Borough Police Department in 2003. Kevin kept me informed with my case all the way to the end. He is an awesome Lawyer. I would recommend my family and friends to him. I have recommend a few friends to Kevin. I just hired Kevin ...about a month ago for parking tickets and he got them all drop.
