Benjamin Stanton

I used Ben Stanton for a traffic case in which I had 5 charges. I was looking at an automatic license suspension and six points as well as fines that was over $1000. He got me a great deal. No license suspension and no points on my license. Took a guilty pleasure to the lesser charges and three fines... reduced to $25 each. I greatly appreciate his help and definitely recommend him.

I had never been arrested before and I was frankly quite terrified. Mr Stanton was assigned as my public defender. It is a great loss to the public defender's office that he is now left. Frankly all the inmates I talked with all wanted to be assigned Ben Stanton. I was arrested for unlawful conta...ct with a minor. Mr Stanton came to see me before my preliminary hearing laid out what I was looking at. He also said that once I see your evidence if I think we can fight this I'll be happy to go to trial with you. However he recommended that I take the deal. Most importantly to me Mr Stanton said I believe I can get you a one to two county bid and he got me one to two county bid. Also you could tell that Mr Stanton is a lawyer that actually cares, I thought he went above and beyond to fight my case even though it was through the public defender's office.

My charges were serious and at best I was looking at 8 years in State Prison. Let me start by saying, when I told Mr Stanton that the charges against me were false, without missing a beat Ben believed me and never questioned that part of my case again. After almost a year it was time for the pre-tria...l hearing. It was scheduled for a Wednesday, Monday morning I received a call from Ben. He said the DA had made an offer. He asked if I was willing to take a deal, the offer was probation. After Ben spent many hours filing motions, looking thru my discovery, this is what the DA felt was an appropriate offer. From 8 years, that I already had started planning for, to again, probation. Now, besides the amazing job he has done as my attorney, I must say that as a human being, he is one of the kindest, professional, and down to earth human beings I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He truly cared about how I was doing and my sobriety mattered to him. I could go on forever about the experience I had with his office, his colleagues and mostly Mr. Stanton. He deserves much more than a simple review. However, that is the only way I know to get the word out. He has made such a huge impact in my life in so many ways. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will write a separate review and mention each one of the colleagues that had helped me also, they also went above and beyond. What a great experience to have in such a terrible situation. Thank you Ben Stanton, you are the greatest.
