I found Mr. Thompson, after browsing a list of recommended lawyers given to me by friends. At the time I had I was dealing with a criminal case for possession of a small amount of marijuana. After giving him my arrest report(officers version of events), I proceeded to tell him my version of events an...d immediately , began telling me the ways he can help my situation. , I was dealing with one other problem of not having funds available until a later date, I explained my problem to him and he worked with me. We worked out a payment plan which left me able to obtain him for services. The consultation itself was amazing, I left his office knowing I found the found the right one. Mind you, I had already been to court with a public defender that came at me with a bunch of offers I didn't wanna accept and asked for a continuance to obtain real representation, rather than someone standing beside me, putting me on a platter for the judge. They were offering me 3-6 months jail time, license suspension and all. That's when I set out to find a lawyer and came across Mr. Thompson. Now, at the day of my scheduled hearing, Mr. Thompson approached me, told me what he was gonna do, which was get this matter reduced to a fine. I sat and waited as he walked into the courtroom, and 5 minutes later i was called in. It was night and day from the door, the judge, prosecutor, and arresting officer even treated me differently. I stood there beside Mr. Thompson, as they proceeded to dismiss everything if I plea out to a fine. Amazing!!! I left that building one of the happiest people alive, still having my freedom, drivers license, and my job...he was truly worth every penny.

Bill has a distintive set of personal qualities: integrity, professionalism, confidence and his outstanding ability to communicate, all of which I noted on my intial phone call.  We had never met or had spoken before , but on that first call he was able to ease my irrational fears regarding my case. ...  During our first and subsequent meetings he informed me of  what he expected to occur and continued to provide support and direction thoughout  what was an uncomfortable and intimidating process for me.          Bill represented me as a whole person and presented my uncharecteristic lapse in judgememt within the context of "my whole life" ... which was so very important to me and I believe affected a positive outcome.  I highly recommend him for his expertise in representing me and will always be grateful to him for his endless support.

We were referred to Bill by a senior member of law enforcement. As a parent, your worst nightmare is receiving a call that one of your children had found themselves in a situation that could have serious criminal ramifications. Bill was quite willing to accept our case, and immediately set about the ...task of learning and examining the facts, then having a detailed conversation with us as a group, and independently with our child. Bill walked us through all the implications of his actions, and outlined best and worst case scenarios so that we would be adequately armed with as much information as possible. A lot of that may seem standard fare for some attorney’s, but where Bill absolutely stood apart was the way he engaged us as a family. Granted, we do not have a lot of experience working with attorney’s, but the experience of working with Bill was in large part contradictory to the stereotype. He gave us the feeling that he genuinely cared about our child’s well-being, and we walked away from our initial meeting with an assured feeling that he would do whatever it took to provide us with the best possible outcome. This was a traumatic experience for our child, but through it all, he actually looked up to Bill as not just his attorney, but somewhat of a mentor. This speaks volumes to Bill’s ability to effectively communicate with us, and the level of transparency into the process that he provided. Bill was successful in providing us with a great outcome, and we are extremely grateful for his dedication to the case and his brilliance in the execution of it. We would 100% recommend Bill with no reservations whatsoever.

Contacted the attorney for a consultation to which I did receive an immediate callback. After speaking with the attorney, I advised him I would provide him with response within a matter of a couple of hours. Called him back at the time I advised him I would like to hire him. He asked me to text him... my email address so he could send the agreement over and that is the last I heard from the attorney. No email ever came. I have left several messages, and sent several text messages with no response whatsoever . Extremely unprofessional in my opinion, put me in a bind and left me to waste valuable time when I could’ve been continuing to search for an attorney.
