Mario J Hanyon

Mario concentrates his practice on bankruptcy law. His experience as a bankruptcy attorney in the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania includes representation of a diverse range of clients from Philadelphia businesses and business persons to Lancaster County dairy farmers to hard working blue collar families in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Mario chose to specialize in bankruptcy law as the ideal way of utilizing his business education and background in a field of law that allows him to get "hands on" with his clients and provide a "life changing" direction for them.

Mario represents both individuals and businesses in bankruptcy as well as bankruptcy alternatives. He has counseled his clients through the bankruptcy process in Chapters 7, 11 and 13 helping them to obtain debt relief. He has successfully provided bankruptcy alternatives to his clients by negotiating loan modifications and debt settlement agreements with creditors. He has helped his clients to restructure their finances to ensure a continued path of well being for his clients and their families. After several years of working in large firms in Philadelphia, Mario partnered with a small in Lancaster County to develop their bankruptcy practice before bringing that knowledge and experience to his current practice in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Mario continues to represent clients in bankruptcy across the state.

Mario received his J.D. from the Villanova University School of Law and his B.S. in business from the Pennsylvania State University. Mario is a member of both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey State Bars. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Mario is also an active member of the Monroe, Lancaster and Lackawanna County Bar Associations.
