About Stephanie
Biography
I am the founder of Joy Disability. I am a Social Security Attorney, and exclusively so, since approximately 2005. I provide representation for those seeking SSD or SSI in all 50 states. I also share 'off the cuff' short Social Security videos where those wanting to learn, subscribe to the You Tube channel Social Security Disability or the Rumble channel All Things Social Security. History:
Prior to exclusive Social Security practice, I engaged in practicing New Jersey general litigation law, including the fields of matrimonial, personal injury, motor vehicle law, criminal law, consumer protection and trust and estates, in addition to Social Security.
I gravitated towards an exclusivity in Social Security, after recognizing my affinity for a practice that is solely directed on helping others improve their lives, without having the often connected consequence of another being hurt in some way.
I built my practice from scratch and appreciated that by doing so, I could maintain my ethical standard and insist on a best practices approach for client success, that eliminates the popular practice of the cutting of corners to maximize a firm's billable fees.
I am passionate about my clients' SS well-being, and the endeavor to improve their lives by obtaining for them their deserved Social Security Disability benefits.
All consultations to have your medical-vocational situation evaluated to determine the potential for a successful fight for Social Security Disability or SSI, and whether we mutually may agree to work together in an appointed Representative capacity before the SSA, are FREE.

I do understand how you felt - I remember a couple decades ago as a newbie in this then-very-niche field, when there were no fellow SSD lawyers, noCLEs, classes or books to speak of (barring one set, which I breathed!), how I'd pull my hair out in frustration at the bureaucracy and red tape - like speaking to a brick wall often times. Very, very early on, I had to nearly Zen (?) myself into a different way of handling those inefficiencies, or else I'd have no hair left ("pulling hair out" kind of frustration). The winning approach, frustrating for sure when the reasons are not well-understood at the time, is the only way to overcome those bureaucratic systems and inefficiencies within them. We made a terrific team, and we survived, lol. Talk soon!
