Edward Michael Olexa

I do not live in the Carbon County area, and I needed to hire an attorney to handle a criminal matter for a member of my family. Attorney Ed Olexa delivered on his promises. He was an excellent communicator, made the whole process easier, and guided us from start to finish. He laid out our strategy a...nd delivered on his promises. Very affordable, if in a pinch, he will work with you. I was uneasy at first with being in legal trouble and all, but from the moment I consulted Mr. Olexa, I was reassured that my life wouldn't be over just yet. He did plenty of research, bringing paperwork for the results of 3 other cases similar t...o my matter in which they were found not guilty. We were originally going for a plea deal, but the officer pulled out last minute w/o explanation so Mr. Olexa and I went into a hearing in which I was found not guilty. 10/5 stars, would recommend.

I choose Ed Olexa because of his past experience as an assistant district attorney. As it would turn out, that knowledge is what led to the charges against me being disapproved. From the very beginning I was impressed with Ed. When a hearing was being set for my bail, Ed scheduled it so that I could ...finish my workday. When I got there just in time for my scheduled time, Ed had already had my bail set and I was released under my own recoganance, not having to post any money. When we got to the preliminary hearing, Ed tried to negotiate with my former employer who had brought the charges against me. They were not interested in any monetary resolution, just seeing me convicted to the fullest extent permitted. Ed knew there was a possibility the charges could be thrown out due to the amount of time that had elapsed from when the charges were initially filed. He advised me to waive my right to a preliminary hearing because if the charges were dropped, charges could be refiled and I would loose the best thing I had going for me in the amount of time. We did that, and when it moved forward to the district attorney, he disapproved the charges due to the amount of time that had elapsed. His stratagey due to his past experience as an assistant district attorney had paid off with the best possible result for me. Ed also worked with me in paying him in allowing me to make payments. I enjoyed talking to Kathy in his office when calling in my payments which actually that more enjoyable than you think. Thanks again Ed and staff.
