Unethical and misrepresented his client

Jason took my money as well. He never returned my calls and never filed the appropriate legal paperwork he was supposed to for my case and because of that I lost a significant hearing. I found out later he was suspended for stealing over 150,000 dollars from his clients and no longer is practicing ...law. It would have been nice to know rather than trying to chase him around for over 6 months. Even before that he did nothing for my case. The defendant's lawyer contacted me more than he did, only to tell me she hadn't heard from him either and he hadn't filed anything we needed for the case. A major disappointment and he still has my money.

Never Hire Jason Jenkins

As another post stated, he talks a BIG game. When you hand over your money, he disappears. Once in a while he resurfaces and needs all the details of the case again because he's lost all the paperwork and doesn't actually remember who you are or what's going on. He will never ever call you back even ...after you leave multiple messages. He'll only speak to you if he accidentally manages to answer the phone when you call and then will act like he was just getting ready to call you. This happened to me after my case had been sitting on his desk for 7 months. He met with me that day and said it would all be finished within the month. That was years ago. I still haven't heard back from him. I truly believe that any of the positive feedback he's received was written by himself (On one site I saw a review that commented on his "handsome appearance." Come on! Who writes that in an attorney review?)

Not Good

No, I would not recommend him at all. He never returns a call and is not organized or clear. He was not a good lawyer: I used him for DWI and he and his secretary were very unorganized (sorry, she was nice but not as professional as you would expect). I was warned just before my appointment by a ...guy who said his divorce case or injury case or something like that sat in Jenkins office for years. I paid no attention because I thought if you let that happen, then you are the one with a problem. well, I should have taken the warning. Nice guy but not right...a little off.

Will He ever call you back?

I had a dui case where I used Jason Jenkins as my attorney. It was a mistake. He talks a big strategy when he wants to you to join him. Once he gets your money it is a drastic change. He doesn't return phone calls. All he talks about are Michael Moore type government conspiracies and did absolutely n...othing for my case. Trust me when I say you would be better off with no lawyer rather than him. I am not trying to mask his character. He is a very nice person. Just an very ineffective attorney. Being a businessman myself I was appauled by his work ethic. I had to meet him at his office on a saturday to give him a paper and he was there in a t-shirt with a "sexual reference" on it. How inappropriate is that? Like i said nice guy, has a lot of knowledge about dui's (which are his main focus). But his ability to apply that knowledge is non-existent. He will not call you back. You will have to call him 6 times for him to take 1 call from you.
