This lawyer was terrible start to finish. Unfortunately I am experinced in the system and my expectations are standard. I say that to give perspective to the reader. I was not expecting miracles. As a baseline, he returns no calls, was late to all 4 hearings, continued 3 times, accidentally offered m...e 90 days to 5 years on my first dui and when I said something he went back to the day and came back with the max of 3 days to 6 months. Mind you he emailed me a guilty plea- no phone call- and said we could get ard. The sentence I took no issues with. But i wish I would’ve saved my money. This guy was worse than a public defender just off of principle. Shouldn’t even practice law

Worst lawyer ever & totally incompetent. If you're thinking about hiring him don't do it you're probably better off taking your chances with a public defender. I went to go see him once for a private consultation about my case & he didn't even have the decency to put down the Spoon to the plate of fo...od he was eating while giving this consultation. He literally sat & was stuffing his face while giving the consultation.He made me feel like food was more important than my freedom

Mr Prendergast is irresponsible and he's part of corrupted "legal mafia" (judges, lawyers and police) He isn't representing clients but is part of this scheme: "Studies cited by the Innocence Project has estimated that between 2.3 percent and 5 percent of all U.S. prisoners are innocent. He is very greedy and doesn’t work from the kindness of his heart. I couldn’t pay in time and he abandoned the case without my knowledge. He keeps continuing your case without gathering evidence. He works closely with the DA. He doesn’t answer his phone or text back. He never informs you of what was ...happening with case. He acts like he working on your case with integrity and really does nothing but waste time. This guy has a lack of integrity and interest of your case or you. I usually don’t do reviews but l would hate for him to continue this repetitive behavior on innocent people who trusted him. Please take heed and protect your case from destruction. Find someone who moves with integrity and with a strong sense of purpose.
