Linda Shay Gardner

DO NOT use this attorney for anything period. She is a thief and unprepared. She takes and takes and takes but doesnt produce results. I am utterly disgusted with the experience i had at this firm and with Linda Shay Gardner in general. Save your money and time and look elsewhere, she is way past her... prime.

Attorney Gardner picked up the pieces of an ugly divorce case in which I was previously represented by an attorney who drug the case on for four years. Her legal expertise and negotiating skills put a quick end to the games being played by the other two attorneys. She represented me in a completely p...rofessional manor and her fees were reasonable compared to what I was paying my other attorney. I would recommend her to anyone needing an ethical and knowledgeable lawyer.

I changed attorney's when it came to the custody portion of my divorce. My ex-wife did not understand the children's wishes and was only concerned with how she would look in the eyes of her circle of friwnds if the children were not with her. Linda stepped up for the children and made sure their wish...es were addressed and stopped the harassment that I was enduring at the same time. Linda was not just outstanding in the way she worked with the other attorney, she listened to the children and supported them. She was efficient in her work and saved me thousands of dollars compared to what had been accomplished with my prior attorney. I should have been with Linda Gardner from the start. I highly recommend Linda and her firm if you are in need of excellent advise and representation.

I hired Linda after a consultation in which she seemed extremely helpful and expressed her ability to help me in my difficult case. However once the retainer was given she became unresponsive and did very little actual work on my case. She proceeded to charge me ridiculous sums just for answering my ...email. I would email her "any update?" To which if she responded at all her response would be "no update" (since she did nothing) but for those 2 words I'd be charged $50 each time. After over a year of no contact from her I proceeded to ask for a partial return of my retainer. Again, no response. I will proceed with legal action against her. Hopefully this review saves someone their hard earned money

For the past nine years Linda Shay Gardner has represented me in Divorce, Support and Custody issues. Every one of these issues was aggressively contested by my ex-wife and therefore we were always in court, always in trial, always in hearings, conferences or motions courts -- always fighting for my... rights as the father. Linda is very knowledgeable about local and international child custody issues, and counsels me as to what is possible and what is not possible. She would always prepare for cases with me, and tell me what I needed to do to prepare as well. I could always tell that she knew precisely what the court wanted to see, and what the court didn't want to see. She would speak plainly and without equivocation about what I should do to help my case and what I should do that would hurt my case. A trial is a very fluid and dynamic environment, and Linda was always prepared, quick thinking and fast on her feet. She could boil issues down to their relevant parts and focus on those parts which would be important for the court to hear. I went through dozens of trials, meetings, conferences and hearings with Linda. My x-wife is very combative and makes up things all the time, and Linda was always there to make sure my best interests were served. She has done a great job for me in three distinct areas over the last nine years, and she has secured payments from my ex through the court on several occasions. For anyone going through Divorce, support, or child custody issues I would certainly encourage you to engage Linda Gardner.
