Client Review of Erin D. Gilsbach, Esq.

I have had multiple opportunities to work with Erin in my capacity as a K-12 District Nurse. Erin is extremely knowledgeable in the field of school law, especially as it relates to educational access for students with special needs. We have collaborated on specific cases to ensure medically fragi...le students receive safeguards for their health and learning; I have also attended her presentations, as well as contributed to her professional development projects, that address legal issues for school nurses, teachers and administrators. Recently, Erin guided my district in updating several pupil services policies to reflect best practice and ensure legally defensible procedures. Erin is always professional, responsive and an excellent resource to clients with school law-related needs.

Competent and complete

Erin is an attorney that takes a very realistic and human view on her work or for her presentations. She brings real life comparisons and applications to complex issues so there is a level of understanding for the audience and client. She is thorough and complete in her work. Her manner is calm, fri...endly yet assertive and direct when needed. All around she is a good fit for any need.

Erin D. Gilsbach, Highly Recommended

I am fortunate to work for a school district that utilizes King, Spry, Herman, Freund, & Faul, LLC. for legal representation in the areas of employee and student law. In particular, Erin D. Gilsbach has proven to be an asset time and time again while providing professional development to the distric...t's faculty and administration. Erin consistently develops and delivers excellent professional development in areas such as confidentiality, student discipline, and special education compliance. I am confident when attending sessions or sending staff to attend sessions, we will leave with the most recent and accurate information necessary to make student-centered decisions that are legally defensible. Attorney Gilsbach always takes the time to know her clients and how to support them. Additionally, Erin often seeks feedback from her clients on her effectiveness and how she may meet the needs of school districts better. It is a joy to work with her and a comfort knowing she is protecting the legal well being of our district.
