This attorney in my child custody case from a few years back was unbelievably unprofessional. My daughter age 4 was having sensory meltdowns and I showed him a video of one of these episodes to understand what was happening at pickups. He told me in a rude and irritated tone that I needed to ...“control my daughters emotions” When I asked him how I should go about doing this, he brushed it off like it was something I should know how to do. I made it clear this was a sensory meltdown and not a temper tantrum. If a lawyer gives me advice and then they can’t answer how I go about doing what they suggested , then they are fired like he was.

RJ came highly recommended to me. Little did I know when I first filed for divorce how emotionally immature my ex husband would become and how long he would purposefully drag out the divorce (2.5 years)! RJ's experience allowed him to advise me correctly from the very first day. While my ex was dragg...ing his feet, RJ constantly went out of his way to help me by managing my ex so I could live my life! His expertise provided me with a settlement that I was EXTREMELY happy with. I recommend him to all of my friends who need legal help and am planning to use him to prepare my will and a pre numptual agreement. He is incredibly meticulous, observant, is extremely communicative, and quite pleasant to work with! I was also extremely happy with the positive relationships RJ has with other attorneys and staff at the courthouse.

I think RJ is an excellent lawyer. I had RJ write a will for me. My estate is complicated due to rental properties, trusts, etc. After seeing these reviews I panicked and had another lawyer look at it. He said that it was excellent and no one could have done any better. RJ seemed very profession...al and I recommend him.

I wish I would have checked the reviews on Robert before I hired him as my divorce attorney. Expensive does not mean excellent, nor does it guarentee anything. He seemed confident at first, but I mis-judged his confidence and eventually this translated into arrogance. He became condecending and would... not advise on simple yes or no questions. He shrugged his shoulders basically. I would have hired someone else but by the time I figured he was just wasting my time and money it was too late. I just wanted to get the divorce finishd. He exhausted my bank accounts and frustrated me mentally. He tried to build a fake claim against my wifes business and basically shake her down for money through the legal system. I thought this was a great idea at first because he promised me about 50k and the house. I was angry, I bought into any idea that could get back at my wife for cheating on me. He fed off this. My retainer was gone in a month and all I had was worthless paperwork and more attorney fees. Rj's idea to shake my wife down for money turned into the biggest fail and waste of my money. My wifes attorney ate him alive. I could go on and on about how disappointed I was with this attorney... Look elsewhere for legal help. This guy is a bad apple.
