Loura Selfe Keepers

Loura grew up in Terre Hill, Lancaster County. She is a graduate of Garden Spot High School in New Holland.

She graduated from Millersville University with high honors. She completed her bachelor’s degree in only 3 years.

Loura attended an accelerated program at Widener University School of Law, where she again graduated with high honors. At Widener University School of Law she served on the Law Review. She received American Jurisprudence Awards for Contract Law and Property Law.

Prior to joining Hagelgans and Veronis, Loura worked at several other prestigious personal injury law firms in Lancaster, gaining experience in accident claims, as well as medical malpractice and products liability cases. The focus of Loura’s practice at Hagelgans and Veronis is automobile accident claims, dog bites and attacks, fall down claims and other personal injury claims. Loura represents only accident victims.

Also, Loura has a Master’s degree in psychology with a perfect grade point average in the program. She is a trained mediator and has served as a community mediator for the Lancaster Mediation Center. Further, she has served as Chairperson of the Lancaster Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee. She has also served as a Chairperson for Compulsory Arbitration cases in the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas. She has been an Instructor at Harrisburg Area Community College teaching the subjects of Legal Research & Writing, Paralegal Studies and Criminal Law.

Loura is a dedicated hiker and runner. She has completed several marathons and half marathons. She and her husband attend Lancaster Church of the Brethren, where they both participate on the music team. They also provide acoustic and Irish music for local benefits and fundraisers. They have one daughter Olga, adopted from Russia when she was 11 years old, and a golden retriever.
