Attorney Adams is no slouch. Representing me as a court appointed attorney (not a Public Defender from the the Bail Administration office), we haven't yet reached trial, but for the the record, she impresses me with her effort. I have retained attorneys in the past and after having two bad experiences, I have found an attorney that I prefer, if finances permit. But I can say that she leaves me feeling as secure having her in my corner as I do with my preferred attorney. She also has offered unsolicited advice on other issues she is not involved with and I couldn't have been more thankful for that. Ms. Adams was most professional yet compassionate, empathetic and genuinely kind throughout this emotional pet law legal matter. She was forthright regarding potential costs as well as best and worse case scenarios. She was flexible with my preferred style of communication, email, as we built our ca...se. I do emphasize WE because we worked as a team. Ms. Adams was consistently firm with our opposition, settling for absolutely nothing less than thee correct outcome. She streamlined our position in court with the subpoena of one key person, my veterinarian. She aggressively proved our case within the first 20 minutes of the 3 1/2 hour hearing. When the DJ ruled in our favor, Ms. Adams provided me with key points of the hearing, in writing, that needed to be discussed during my meeting with Representative Cox. She also provided additional council and support should the SPCA officer come knocking again. Upon Rep. Cox's request, and my permission, Ms. Adams spoke candidly to him about our case.
