Lauren E. Martin is a native of Lancaster County and graduated from Conestoga Valley High School. She then attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she was a national-qualifying member of the swim team, and received her Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude. Ms. Martin received her Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt Law School in Nashville, Tennessee. While at Vanderbilt, Ms. Martin was on the executive board for the Mock Trial program and competed on the national competition team. She also became a Fellow of the Alliance Defending Freedom’s Blackstone Legal Fellowship, receiving training and instruction on legal philosophy and constitutional law.
After graduating from law school, Ms. Martin clerked for the Honorable David R. Workman of the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas. After her clerkship, she joined Pyfer Reese Straub Gray & Farhat PC. In 2016, she was selected to participate in the Young Lawyers Academy. This competitive program provides legal training and resources for lawyers throughout the United States to effectively advocate for their clients and their values.
Ms. Martin is admitted to practice before the courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey. She is a member of the Lancaster and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. In her free time, Ms. Martin enjoys swimming, participating in her church orchestra, and spending time with her husband.
