Robert John Schefter Jr.

I had the pleasure of working with Robert Schefter almost 2 years ago. I found him personable and reliable and especially as I am currently not resident in the US, he was professionally reassuring, being fully aware of the circumstances surrounding what had to be done. That is critically important. ...I live in Japan, a world away and his competence had to be adjudicated through performance from far. He not only delivered on that front but in the result and follow through. All matters were dealt with in an expedient fashion and altogether resolved with his management in a timely manner. Although I'd prefer to not have to repeat that matter going forward, I would feel secure to have him watching my back should the need arise. A family member was wrongfully arrested following a college campus party. There was an issue of race, police mistreatment, police false reporting. The matter was duly sorted through and by the time of the court appearance date we felt understood and supported. It was swiftly dealt with and we were satisfied that all turned out positively.

There are many attorney’s from which you can choose, but I don’t believe you will find another who will give you the same sense of comfort that you will find in Bobby. My case began as a dui checkpoint arrest but we faced some unf...oreseen hurdles and it quickly became very scary for me. Knowing that I could trust and believe in Attorney Schefter made the days leading up to my sentencing much more tolerable. Each time I found myself over analyzing, stressing over the "what if's" or feeling like I was going to “snap” it was resolved by a phone call to Bobby....his calm demeanor certainly had a way of settling me in those anxious times!! Attorney Schefter is extremely knowledgeable, respectable, full of integrity, thorough and, above all, he is compassionate – he knew it was the worst time of my life; he never left me to wonder and he understood my tears.

Attorney Schefter handled all aspects of my case. There was not one phone call that I made with a question that went unanswered PERSONALLY; not one. This was not the case with other lawyers I had worked with. Rather than fast-tracking me into the ARD program and moving on to the next client, he ana...lyzed the strengths and weaknesses of my case. While preparing for trial, he negotiated with the prosecutor and police, enabling me to plead guilty to a lesser charge, not involving DUI, thereby avoiding the need to go to trial altogether. He covered all the bases and is familiar with all officials who may have an impact on your case. Having an attorney who is able to do that is extremely reassuring. He is very highly recommended.

Mr. Schefter was a life-saver with my recent DUI case in Pennsylvania. Because I am from out of state, my case was a bit complex.
