Born and bred outside of New York City, I received my Undergraduate Degree in Marketing from the University of Scranton in 1994. Being a waiter/bartender through my college years I finsihed in 1994 and moved to the Harrsiburg area to commence law school at Widener University where I received my J.D. in 1997. I was employed by Lincoln General Insurance Compnay through law school where I first gained magistrate level litigation experience. After law school I accepted a Judicial Clerkship for now retired Judge John S. Kennedy who served on the York County Court of Common Pleas. in 1999 I worked with the firm of Gates & Gates, PC in Hanover, Pennsylvania until 2002 when I joined the firm of Blake & Gross, LLC in York, Pennsylvania. In both professional experiences I was in general practice and leaned more towards criminal litigation. As my bio will state, and for which I do not gloss over, I had a suspension of my license for 6 months in 2015. This taught me to not handle matters assigned to me simply because I was a general practioner. This taught me that you must do what you love and do it right. In 2016 through 2020 I practiced with the firm Whittle & Gross, LLP where I practiced only criminal defense and motor vehicle law.
January 1, 2021 I made the move to doing everything my way, correctly, intensely and thoroughly. I have an established client base and greatly respected by them, my legal community and judicial community. The way I operate is simple, " I will tell you want you need to hear, not what you want to hear." Being straightforward, knowing the law, my attention to detail, always researching legal issues to stay on top of legal changes and having no fear of jury trials, if the matter requires, makes me a premier attorney in my field. I have had over 100 jury trials in my career, countless magistrate hearings, argued cases before the Pennsylvania Superior and Supreme Court and do not flinch. I work non-stop but also have raised my children, coached soccer for 13 years, serve on the board of Open Arms Recovery Center, spend countless hours with my dog walking the historic rail trail around York and most likely having a conversation with someone about fishing, the NY Jets or Man U Soccer.
If you are cited, arrested or the police lights come on, that is where I come in. Call me. Know your rights. Let's develop a plan of defense from the beginning. Do not carry the stress and anxiety alone. You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful Attorney
Ron Gross is the most honest upfront lawyer I have ever met. Not only did he tell me exactly what he could do for me. Which he did that and more!! "I endorse Attorney Gross. I have known Attorney Gross throughout his legal career. I have had numerous custody and divorce cases with him as opposing counsel and always found him to be prepared for his cases, very competent and professional. I have also observed him representing his clients in the courtroom in criminal cases. Attorney Gross is a very knowledgeable and skilled litigator who genuinely cares about his clients.
