DO NOT HIRE!

I hired Amy in September, although I was originally referred to a different lawyer within the same firm. This was a huge mistake that I regret. She is completely unresponsive. At times, it took her weeks to respond. At one point, her excuse was that her email was not working. She didn't hesitate to b...ill me for her one-line emails stating that she would get back to me (never did). She never (in 4 months) advised me around seeking spousal or child support (pretty basic); I had to research these myself and do the process on my own. Don't waste your time or money-find someone with a better reputation for being responsive and taking clients seriously.

Superior famliy attorney

In November of 2016 I seperated from my wife and moved out of the marital home. I have two daughters with my ex wife and she wasn't allowing me to see or spend time with them. At that point, i realized the help of an attorney was neccessary. I was referred to attorney philips. Upon my initial me...eting with attorney phillips, her first question to me was "what would your children say about you". I replied they would say "im a good father". Attorney Phillips proceeded with a line of questions. She accepted my case and was extremely dedicated, responsive, comforting, compassionate, helpful, agressive( when needed). Attorney Phillips represented me in child custody, divorce and child support matters. Because of attorney phillips expertise and experience, i now have joint custody and i am divorced. Thank you attorney Phillips for all of your help.

Not so good

Tried using Amy for a custody issue. Think she was more concentrated on how to bill me more and providing me good legal advice. Ended up more hurting than helping in the case.

Amazing Attorney

Amy is currently my attorney for a very difficult custody case with my ex whom I share my daughter with. Unlike most attorneys Ive had experiences with she has empathy for my situation and I feel she truly cares about the outcome. Being in a custody battle is far from easy and must be treated with ...the best care. Amy has far exceeded my expectation. She is very thorough and always has my daughters best interest at heart. When hiring an attorney, you do not need a friend. You need someone who will lead you in the right direction whether you agree or not. Amy has yet to steer me wrong. Her knowledge and strength in the court room blows me away. She is soft and kind, but bold and argumentative when it counts. Clearly, this woman us not afraid of a challenge and does not back down easily. Amy is prompt and very informative. Never have I awaited an answer to a question or wondered what the next step would be in my case. I am pleased with Amy Phillips and would recommend her to anyone.
