Lori Painter is a highly knowledgeable and skilled attorney serving workers’ compensation and Social Security disability clients in Harrisburg, Lancaster, Pottsville, Shippensburg, Wilkes-Barre, Williamsport, York and throughout Pennsylvania. She zealously represents the rights of injured and disabled individuals, handling a breadth of workers’ comp and SSD claims.

Ms. Painter brings over 28 years of experience to the firm. Prior to joining Metzger Wickersham, she handled workers’ compensation and Social Security claims at the law firm of Philip J. Fulton & Associates in Columbus, Ohio.

She has extensive experience helping disabled individuals obtain Social Security disability benefits, from the initial application stage through the administrative hearing level. She has also handled claims before the Appeals Council and in Federal Court. She is a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives.

Ms. Painter finds great reward in representing injured and disabled workers and helping them through a stressful time in their lives. It is her goal to provide clients with the compassionate, yet aggressive, representation they need and deserve. A down-to-earth and friendly attorney, Ms. Painter prides herself on being easy to talk to and in tune with her clients’ needs.

Ms. Painter is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Colorado. Prior to attending college and law school, she spent some time working in the ski industry in Colorado. In her free time, she enjoys cycling, hiking and skiing. She is also an avid college and pro football fan.
