Quick Response

I called in need of a consultation for a family member who is incarcerated. She answered all my questions, very knowledgeable and friendly. She let me know she would have a phone consultation with in the week. Very satisfied.

Worst I've ever encountered

She is horrible with her job. She does not care about her clients. If anyone ever gets her, find a reason to gain a different PD. I know several clients of hers and one of them is dear to me. She did such a horrid job on protecting him, that instead of a charge that was initially just a fine, turned ...into 9 months in prison and work release. She had a letter explaining his innocence and that the charges were to be dropped. Instead she made him plead guilty. Told the family that he was to be released by the holidays, but when it came down to it, never filed the petition. Along with that never answered the phone or returned any of the several voice mails. We still do not know a release date or any information about her client. She is a horrible public defender. I understand she, like many, has a lot of clients. Somehow at every court date plenty of other Public Defenders did their job in defending their clients. All except for her.

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
