The process of litigation is much, much slower than you realize. When this happens John and his paralegal Gloria get the blame. I hired Mr. Kerr to represent me at an unemployment hearing. His paralegal Gloria Fryer was so rude and unprofessional when I visited their office that it's difficult to believe she is in the business of helping people. Attorney Kerr was more personable, but he also solicited me to file a suit agains...t my former employer that was completely unrelated to the hearing I hired him for. We made a deal for $400 up front to get that separate suit that he suggested started (since my case weakened with each passing day). And an additional $600 over the course of the suit. I paid him the $400 on July 12, 2018 and he in turn promised to file my suit the following week. Over 3 months have passed and no suit was filed, no work performed. He just kept my money and never filed the suit as he promised and neither he or his assistant Gloria Fryer returned any of my phone calls for over six weeks. He clearly just kept my money and abandon me. I turned to Mr. Kerr when I was in a time of need with my livelihood and he took advantage of me. He told me in his office that he cared, and I believed him. Mr. Kerr owes me an explanation, an apology and a refund. If you need representation don't make the same mistake I made of blindly trusting someone. Do some back round checking first. Start with the disciplinary board. Had I done this I would have discovered that Mr. Kerr has a lengthy dubious history that dates back to the early 1980's that includes disbarment and incarceration.

I conferred with Attorney Kerr on my complex custody case in which there were several sensitive issues, professional evaluations and also a Guardian ad litem. My case was very difficult and required extensive preparations, which Attorney Kerr focused great attention to detail and demonstrated excepti...onal knowledge. Attorney Kerr's aggressive and thorough representation proved to be of the best available, as he corrected a very difficult case and his conscientious attention to details made all the difference to a successful outcome of my case. Attorney Kerr is a highly recommended and proven lawyer who obtains proven results.

Hired him to represent me with a DUI arrest. Through the 18 months of time from start to finish, he never mentioned the maximum penalty of prison that could occur. I spent 3 days in prison which if I knew I would never have gone to trial and would have take the plea along with saved a tremendous am...ount of money. Avoid him and his assistant Gloria who also deceived me throughout the process

Attorney Kerr was referred to me by the Cumberland County Bar Association in Sept. 2014. I paid him his fee in October 2014. His lack of communication has been very frustrating and when he did respond to my e-mails, it was nothing more than lies. After 8 months, he hadn't even started on my lawsuit.... I have fired him and am still waiting for my refund; I'm not holding my breath. I have tried going thru the legal authorities to file a claim against him, but with no results. If I would have check with the disciplinary board prior to obtaining him, I would have found that he has a history with them that includes a disbarment and incarceration. His performance is levels below that of a competent attorney.
