Biography
Attorney Owen focuses on family law, and she is experienced in counseling clients in divorce, support, custody, and adoption matters. She is also experienced in the area of guardianship, representing individuals in various capacities. Attorney Owen has handled cases from inception through appeal and has achieved positive outcomes for her clients in Pennsylvania trial courts, intermediate appellate courts and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
In 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022, Attorney Owen was recognized as a Rising Star in family law in the Pennsylvania edition of Super Lawyers. Pennsylvania Super Lawyers selects outstanding attorneys who have been identified as having attained a high level of peer recognition and professional achievement.
Attorney Owen is an active participant in local bar associations. Currently, she serves as President of the Cumberland County Bar Association, and previously served as the Vice-Chair of the Cumberland County Family Law Section and Chair of the Cumberland County YLD. She is also an active member of the Franklin County Bar Association. On the state level, she is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and she serves as a delegate in the PBA House of Delegates, the policy making body of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
She has been practicing in central Pennsylvania for over 10 years.
