Scott Nathan Pletcher

I hired Mr. Pletcher to handle a DUI for me...it wasn't an alcohol charge but rather medication that I had a prescription for. He assured me that going through the ARD program was in my best interest and that upon completion of the program he would file the expungement so that I would have no record.... I called him twice leaving detailed messages that I was up for a job and the employer was going to do a background check. He never returned my calls. The background check showed the charge and I did not get the job. This guy is a TERRIBLE lawyer who did not do the job we agreed upon. Also he is INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL to have not returned my phone calls. Get someone else- not this ambulance chasing scam artist. Truly awful and I lost a very good job because he didn't do his!

I hired attorney Pletcher for two separate cases. On neither account did he fight for any lesser charges on my behalf. On one occasion, he showed up to the courthouse after I was realeased from a weekend in county (brought in on a warrant for a missed court date) with papers already signed and my sen...tence basically finalized without my chance to find out my options or fight for a lesser charge (which was totally possible after speaking with lawyers after the fact). He may be affordable but you really get what you pay for. If you want someone to fight for your rights, I highly suggest taking your services elsewhere.

My case was an ARD. Attorney Pletcher explained the program to me and my mom at his office. He explained his legal fee and at the end of our free consultation he gave me a copy of his notes of our meeting. He called me to remind me of court, was on time and explained all the papers I had to sign. He... says that he will be filing my expungement papers when my ARD is done. His fee is probably HALF of some the other lawyers I talked to. He actually gave me his cell phone number in case I was late for court.

HE IS AWFUL. AVOID USING PLETCHER AT ALL COSTS! He was completely unresponsive to my emails and phone calls. I needed to continue the trial and emailed him telling him this and left several voicemails throughout the period of a month and heard nothing back. He did not tell me when to go to court, an...d he did not even show up to the trial! I just found out through the mail that I was found guilty and now may lose my license, and I was not even represented! I called him to find out what happened and after five more voicemails and three emails he called me asking to pay him more money!
