Lance T. Marshall

We sought Lance’s help on a very difficult situation for our daughter which included domestic violence and issues that could have affected her career in the long run due to false allegations being made in retaliation for finally having her husband arrested. Lance was responsive, fair and extremely kn...owledgeable about the laws. We found him to be honest and never gave us false hope but was able to always paint a clear picture of what the next steps would be. My daughter is finally free and can move on happily with her life thanks to Lance. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone that needs an experienced attorney.

I hired Lance after finding out I was facing criminal charges. First of all he was next to impossible to reach, never responded to emails and when I would call and leave a message it was days until I got a call back. Lance never had a one on one consultation with me so I could sit down and explain m...y side of things. How is someone suppose to fight for you without knowing your story ? He did the bare minimum. Basically got me through the paper work. Did not fight for me at all. On top of everything else I never got a discovery packet or was able to see it when I asked him for it. It makes no sense to me. Terrible mistake hiring Lance for a lawyer. If I could go back in time I would, and hire someone who was on my side not the court's.

Lost my case. Completing unprepared. Didn't send a bill for 2 months then has the gumption to say he won't work on my case until he gets paid while still not handing me a bill. He would not hardly consult me before the hearing and got his ass whooped by a public defender. He might be a better crimin...al lawyer but he is just a terrible custody lawyer. My case was a sure win he said at first when we talked about terminating rights.

I was very disappointed with Mr. Marshall. We took my case to trial, where he made a fool of himself and myself in the courtroom. It was made obvious during our trial that he never evenread the cops report of what happened, and then chose to appear in Clearfield for court on my sentencing day without... even calling or rescheduling or returning our phone calls. He left me in court by myself with no idea what was going on. After paying him, the least he could do is show up to a court date! Or return a phone call. if you want fair representation for your case, Lance Marshall is NOT who you want to hire!!!

Simply put, he is the best lawyer State College has to offer. Once you hire Lance Marshall, you will realize that this man was legitimately born to go to trial and he ultimately wins his trials. In a county where there are corrupt district attorneys trying to prove not just the defendant guilty, b...ut also the client that THEY are supposed to represent on behalf of the Commonwealth, Lance Marshall cuts through all of their facetious, manipulative tactics and does so with a calm, soft-spoken, and confident attitude. Recently, Lance Marshall picked my jury for a trial. I was innocent, and wanted to prove such, so I refused to take a crap deal from the district attorneys, who are so desperate to get a conviction at this particular time in order to cover up the bad press they've been getting. Because he is such an excellent judge of character, the jury rightfully found me not guilty of my accused crime. He genuinely believed I was innocent and the jury saw that. He used the definition of the law I was accused of breaking to tell the jury there was simply no way they could find me guilty, whereas the district attorneys used guilt tripping and "statistical" information to try and persuade the jury. It became clear to the jury that the district attorneys were suggesting I was guilty until proven innocent. The district attorneys bashed my fiancé, the person who they were supposed to "represent," trying to convict her of things also. That didn't fly with the jury. Lance Marshall was able to pick people who he thought were competent and productive members of society to prove my innocence, and he succeeded. Lance Marshall is smart and knows the law well and does not have to rely on intimidation tactics to get what he wants. He does not have to bully people to scare them into believing him. He simply states facts, uses logic, and exercises his vast knowledge of the law to his advantage. This is not the first time I hired Lance Marshall. He has seen me through my darkest days of life and has made sure that I got what I needed in order to not ruin the rest of my life because I made a few bad decisions. Each time was a complete success. If you want a lawyer who will get back to you in a prompt manner, hire Lance Marshall. If you want a lawyer who will go up and over the top to represent you, hire Lance Marshall. If you want a lawyer who will take time out of his busy day to sit you down in his office and go over the details of your case, hire Lance Marshall. If something changes in your case, or new information arises, he will call you and let you know so that you are just as informed as he is. There is no such thing as "leaving you in the dark," as many lawyers love to do. His motto is "I am not representing clients, I am re-presenting clients." Think about that statement. He sincerely loves what he does, and his passion for his career shows in his quality of work. Sure, you will pay a little extra money, but the saying goes, "You get what you pay for."
