We hired him for a child custody case. All went well in the beginning then he was out with covid for a few weeks right before our hearing. Instead of postponing til he could be on top of his game he consulted with my son just 2 days before the hearing. We had no idea they retained a lawyer and a few ...other things. He should have postponed then. 2 days later he went to court and advised my son to take a deal that will hurt my grandaughters well being. Instead of starting off visits slowly IN OUR STATE the lawyers deal was short sighted and can cause long term damage mentally and or physically to my grandaughter. My grandaughter needs her mother but only if she got the help she needed. The lawyer talked a big game before court of things he would do to keep my grandaughters saftey in check but failed miserably.

I cannot express the lengths Attorney Jerry Nelson went for me and my case. He was determined to seek justice. He held his composure under pressure and even offered the grace to calm me under unknown circumstances without giving any false hope. He remained calm and expressed a down to earth and relat...able persona. He is an all around great guy/ attorney and I recommend him and his law firm. He has amazing staff that make you feel like your part of their family. I cannot thank you enough!

Hired Gerald Nelson for a criminal case. Not a good attorney in any regard. Would not recommend him to anyone. Gerald couldn't even defend someone on a traffic ticket let alone a criminal charge! Lucky I got smart and fired him and hired a new attorney that actually worked to get the criminal charge ...reduced.
