The right experience matters. I haven't just been an attorney the last ten plus years. I've been a trial attorney. A prosecutor. A criminal defense attorney. Few if any can match that level of recent experience in the trenches.
My hard earned personal and professional experiences have made me a fiercely competitive, yet calm, calculated and practical attorney. I understand there are many nuances involved in effectively defending your case. There are and will be times when we will fight the other side through litigation. There are and will be times when your interests are best served by careful and timely negotiation. As an attorney, I approach every case with two goals.
1. You achieve the best result possible.
2. You are happy with how I represented you.
Honesty is extremely important to me. I will never tell you what you want to hear in order to get you to hire me or to avoid having a difficult conversation. I will be honest with you, treat you with respect, and explain not just what I think we should do but why I think we should do it. I strongly believe that type of representation is required because if you are in a position to be reading this then you are likely going through one the toughest periods in your life. You need an attorney who understands that.
I was fortunate to serve as an Assistant District Attorney in Erie County from August 2009 until January 2015. In that position I interacted on a daily basis with all members of law enforcement and the judiciary at both the Magisterial District Judge and Common Pleas Court level. That significant and detailed experience has allowed me to develop invaluable insight and professional relationships. Insight and relationships few if any other Defense Attorney can claim to have. I now use these relationships and insight as a resource as a Defense Attorney to acquire tremendous results for my clients. In many instances, I can get outcomes no other defense attorney can get.

After the filing of a Suppression Motion and targeted negotiation the felony Possession with Intent to Deliver was dropped to a misdemeanor possession and R.J. merely received one year of probation.
After a contested Preliminary Hearing and targeted negotiation all charged with withdrawn.
The case was thrown out and all charges were dismissed after a lengthy Omnibus Pre-Trial Motion in which I successfully showed that the Commonwealth had violated T.P.'s Constitutional Rights.
All charges other than Disorderly Conduct were withdrawn after the filing of an Omnibus Pre-Trial Motion and and thorough negotiation of the case.
