Matthew W. McCullough is a Senior Partner with the law firm of MacDonald Illig Jones & Britton LLP, where he is a member of the Labor and Employment and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups. His practice consists primarily of labor and employment advice and litigation for employers, and commercial litigation related to a variety of commercial and business disputes. In particular, he emphasizes advice to employers and litigation concerning Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, wage and hour matters, terminations and general employee relations and personnel matters. Mr. McCullough's commercial litigation practice includes product liability, shareholder disputes, breach of contract, qui tam litigation and other commercial and business disputes. He also recently concluded representation of defendants in a federal False Claims Act qui tam civil action.
Mr. McCullough is admitted to practice in all county trial and appellate courts in Pennsylvania. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Western and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He has been specially admitted to the United States District Courts for the Southern District of New York and the Western District of Washington
Mr. McCullough's activities in the community presently include serving on the Board of Northwestern Legal Services, Board of Trustees of Wayside Presbyterian Church, and Treasurer of the McDowell Boys LaCrosse Boosters Club, and he is a past Treasurer of the McDowell Hockey Club.
Mr. McCullough is a cum laude graduate of Colgate University, and he served as Alumni Representative for Colgate in Northwest Pennsylvania for several years. At Colgate, Matt was (and remains) a proud member of the Beta Theta chapter of Beta Theta Pi fraternity, and served as President during the fall of 1983. He maintains contact with lawyers, investment bankers, physicians and individuals of many other professions throughout New York, Manhatten and the New England states.
