I NEEDED IMMEDIATE HELP WITH CHILD CUSTODY. I HAD TO CONSTANTLY CALL AND ASK WHAT WAS GOING ON. THERE WAS ALWAYS A EXPLINATION OF SOME SORT ABOUT THE DELAY. I contacted Attorney Williams for a legal proceeding regarding the amendment of a birth certificate. When we first spoke, I was told this would take 2-3 months tops, only due to paperwork moving slow through the court system.. We are now well over a year and this is finally being resolved, only becau...se I have kept pushing and pushing (daily emails and calls). At one point, I even emailed asking if I needed to find another attorney because a had received no response for almost a month. On several occasions, I was told I would have paperwork mailed to me only to find out that she had not mailed the paperwork. The only reason I found out is because I had to reach out to her. She did not keep me informed throughout the process. I paid $1250 for her services and then almost another $250 for paperwork to be filled out. I was informed in the beginning that she knew what to do.. After reaching out to (3) separate judges, she informed me that she was learning as she went with this case because it was unusual. Why not tell me this up front instead of saying that this would be an easy process..? This is a very good case of - "just because you have a degree does not mean you are ready for the field". To add icing to the cake, she informed me that she didn't want to pay for priority mail ($7) for this to reach me in time. Instead of her being in contact with the other party involved, she has had me in constant contact with the other party and having me bring the paperwork to the other party involved. -Not enough experience -Poor communication -Poor Follow-through -Unprofessional

When I hired Mrs Williams I was told that the 500$ would cover all legal paper work, the court appearance, and she would be able to answer any and all questions in a reasonable manner considering she is a independent practice. Well my custody battle started In December of 2017 she is not holding my c...ourt order that needs sent to me and signed to be official because she wants another 250$ just for her signature and to be mailed out to me.. considering there was no paper work after the first and only court appearance. This should be considered the legal paperwork she said she would file when I paid her the first 500$. She is a complete rip off and now there will be no custody order because I refuse to pay her even more when she did nothing the first time

Hiring Anastasa was the best decision I made with the custody issue I'm having. Anastasa is hard charging and wasted no time getting the information and paperwork CYF told me they didn't have yet. She answers my phone calls even outside of business hours and never deflected or mumbled through my ques...tions and in my opinion said what it was even if I might not like the answer. Also unlike other attorneys I talked to about this issue she never guaranteed anything and when it comes to custody issues you can't and best of all she was affordable and I never once thought Anastasa was thinking about money unlike other 10 attorneys that started with a free consultation only to say it would be an unaffordable amount of money for them to represent me.
