My first impression was that she had cared about me and wanted to do what was needed. She and her team did what was needed for the first few months. However, throughout the process lack of communication occurred on her end. She quoted one rate for things at our consultation which turned out to no...t be accurate. She charged more than once for the same document. She never listened to me and fulfilled my needs after I told her not to do one thing. She promised me that I would be divorced in a year. That was 12-2018 and it is approaching three years as I am still stuck in the abusive relationship that I reached out to her to end. I sent numerous emails throughout the months where she and MacKenzie stopped doing anything related to my divorce. My last email was approximately one month ago. I kept telling both of them that it was still my intention to divorce but never received any communication back. Calling the office is a joke because you are told that the message will be relayed and just like emails they are ignored. I have done some research as a friend had recommended her and from what this friend told me there are others that feel that she did not meet their needs. Be forewarned that you will be overcharged and that she may not always have your best interest in mind.

Then responds with patronizing reassurances without addressing concerns which were shared by me through emails and calls. The communication is terrible, everytime you call the office and speak with the assistant the phone magically hangs up on you. They tell you to email because it’s the fastest way of communication but it’s very rare that they answer the email in a timely manor or answer the questions you asked. She wi...ll drop you for absolutely anything, in my personal experience she dropped me for asking 2 questions. In this circumstance, I emailed her asking two questions because I was unsure how to fill out some paperwork and she emailed me back with a motion to drop me as a client. She claims that her reputation is very important to her, yet from the minute I retained her services she’s been nothing but a money hungry, uneducated, rude individual. Lastly, do not expect anything to be done right the first time, and expect them to charge you over and over again for the same thing that should have only had to do once. Do not hire Gail Suhr unless you like wasting your time and money.

Due to a lack of basic communication my experience was horrible. Everyone has a different way of doing things and this office was extremely difficult to communicate with. Emails went unanswered for days and phone calls were not returned. Meanwhile, I needed a lawyer that I felt trust with and not... another situation to add to my stress. Her retainer fee is high and non-refundable for ANY reason. So what motivates her to actually work when she’s charging a high rate and doesn’t care if you leave because she keeps thousands regardless of what’s done. Read more reviews, I’m not the only one that’s had this happen. I wish that I would have seen them before it was too late.
