Last week I met with Attorney Kecskemethy for a consultation and he was extremely helpful. Unlike the other lawyers I talked to, he actually listened to what I had to say and didn’t ramble on for long periods about items that weren’t really relevant to my situation. He spoke to me with candor and he ...didn’t talk down to me, he actually made me feel like a peer and not like I was buying a used car. I also got the sense that he is very well-informed/educated on the areas of law that we discussed. Ultimately, he gave me a fresh perspective on the case, that while I’m still adjusting to, is probably going to be a better way of looking at it. Ultimately, I didn’t retain him, but it wasn’t because I had any doubts about his knowledge, skill, or ability; it was only because he explained how I can likely accomplish what I need to at a better value using another attorney. He explained that he can and would take the case, but it’s likely that I could accomplish the same goal(s) for less money by using one of the attorneys in my backyard; he even gave me a couple recommendations for attorneys who aren’t affiliated with him or his practice, and wasn’t even like, “Make sure you tell them I sent you” or anything like that. So this is why I’m giving him 5 stars, a well-deserved 5 stars.
