I had a custody battle that was drug out for FOUR years. Jennifer is very unprofessional as far as appearance and work ethic. She would not respond to things in a timely manor and when my case finally could’ve went to trial she decided it was best if I found different representation knowing I only ha...d 20 days to file and she waited 5 days to even give me the new custody order, which I may add gave me LESS than I did before I started fighting for my daughter. She would use profanity and would show up to hearing looking like she just rolled out of bed. My evidence was not even presented on my side of the case that would disprove the opposing party. I will never recommend her to anyone, let alone ever use her again. Biggest waste of money ever!!!!!

The first time I met Jen, she gracefully went out of her way. Something I was not used to because, I assumed like most of my court appointed lawyers I was just a docket number. I could not have been more wrong. Right then I realized she is very charismatic and was not going to stand around waiting or... expecting me to give up. I truly feel like if you are ever in my position, back against the wall nowhere to go but forward or fall, don't give up your Jen might be around the corner! Jennifer I cant thank you enough! Do you want to give someone all of your savings for a very simple divorce, only to have it drag on for a year and a half? Do you want to pay someone who decides not to give even a cursory response to questions after you've paid her for a service they have yet to perform? Would you like for your case ...to stall because of forms not filed on time (this one isn't on anyone but you, JD). How about someone who email blasts their clients to complain about bad reviews, only to have them scrubbed from this website? Well, then JD Law is the firm for you! I've taken my case into my own hands now. I'm sure that she would be responsive if I still owed her money, but since I already paid her, why would she care if my case never finalizes? She got hers.

I’ve paid her in full. For months now she has been blowing me off. Blamed an ex employee stealing money from her and blamed the courthouse for losing the paperwork. I’ve contacted the courthouse and they have never received anything from her. Nothing but a run around. I’m going to have to file a comp...laint against her and her law firm.

If you are a victim of abuse, run in the other direction! Jennifer will compromise your safety. She provided my ex's counsel with my personal information which I had legally protected under California's Safe at Home program. They then provided it to my ex. Do not give her your personal information. I...t is not safe. Jennifer talks a big game. I was drawn to her because of her work with her BLM legal defense work. She told me she would complete my divorce for $2k. After completing just one hearing for which she was on a road trip and dropped the call multiple times, she withdrew, leaving me to find a new attorney. She did not provide a refund, either. Everyone I interviewed said the same thing: "Why hasn't she submitted this claim yet?" I had no reply; she refused to provide a strategy. When I asked for her to provide my case with some attention, after months of her stalling, she replied by telling me about another client who had been punched in the face the day before, which retraumatized me. I spent so much time working through that image, all done to try to put me in my place. She topped off her withdraw by with lying to the court, saying I had asked her to withdraw, and PA Bar, saying I had called her names. As if we were in elementary school. She is not trauma-informed and is in well over her head working with the public. I feel sorry for the protestors who relied on her to bail them out.
