Difenderfer has won multiple cases for me. He is a great trial attorney. One of the best in Pittsburgh. However, he took one of my cases and insisted that I take a plea deal and outright refused to go to trial. I had to hire another attorney who ended up getting the charges dismissed. He is a ...great litigator ... but takes certain cases fully intending to plea out and convince the client it is in their interest to do so.

I was a dumb college freshman 15 years ago who made a bad decision that could have potentially ruined my life. My family hired my first attorney and realizedthat he did not have my best interest at heart/ didn't put in much effort. $5009 later we met with Bill and he worked hard from the beginning...... his knowledge of the law and leveraging was impeccable. He was a decent amount more expensive than my first lawyer, but worth every dollar. I faced several felonies for something that goes on at college campuses more than you would believe. His strategic thinking for jury selection and cross examinations were something out of a movie. I haven't had much experience with lawyers, but Bill is not your typical "take your money and RUN" type of lawyer. He is worth every dollar spent. He has never given me false hope. He is experienced and knows his way around the court room. He cuts to the chase, and tells you want is going to happen e...ven if you do not like it. He is always truthful. Without him I would have had a different outcome, and instead of being a functional member of society, I would have been added to the statistical downfall of all other citizens who have gotten into trouble while using poor judgment and haven't been able to climb out of the primordial ooze that is "MANDATORY SENTENCING". He saw me as a person who needed help and not another paycheck, and for that I will forever be grateful!
