Consultation was excellent

I reached out to Amy for a consultation regarding my deceased brother’s estate/trust, and the problems we were facing while dealing with the estate attorney and financial advisers. She offered excellent advice, but because the estate is held in Ohio, we were not able to actually hire Amy, unfortunate...ly. She did, however, get us put on the right path, and we are using the advice to the best of our abilities. I can not thank, nor recommend, Amy enough for her patience, understanding, and willingness to listen to our situation and offer her advice!! Terrific person, and wise attorney.

If you think there is no way out to your case, Amy Acheson says yes

I had a case that for me there is no way out about an Inheritance, looking for an Attorney and without any hope I found Amy Acheson and she said yes I going to work in the case, the process was for 6 years, She worked very hard and honestly, sometimes the case seemed lost, but with professionalism S...he got ahead again, until today after a long process and communications Amy Acheson wrote to me an email telling me we won the case, if you are considering to hire an Attorney, please stop for a minute and call Amy Acheson, thank you for your honestly, dedication, communication, professionalism, that you deserve.

Great lawyer

Ours was an extremely high end, complicated medical case against a powerful institution. Regrettably we'd known litigation before and worked with other good lawyers. Amy goes beyond good and competent . She is kind and humane. It was a long, dark ordeal. Amy was the steady, rational light that never ...went dim. As primary caregiver and lone warrior I would have lost my mind entirely without Amy Acheson. Litigation is hell; I was Dante; Amy was my Virgil. She led me safely through and out of the inferno.

Trusted Partner

I worked with Amy Acheson on a marital matter. She was extremely knowledgeable of the law, prompt in responding to my concerns, and a strong advocate. Ms. Acheson did not over-lawyer the case, however, she made certain that my interests were not compromised, and kept me updated through out the proces...s.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
