My MISSION is to be respected by my clients as a professional who does his best to be a competent, prepared, organized, conscientious, loyal, affordable, and caring legal advocate.
My GOAL is to create satisfied clients by providing sensitive counsel through the various parts of the legal system. I attempt to make what could be a scary experience a positive, unintimidating one as inexpensively as possible without jeopardizing a case. I take pride in my ability to represent a diverse clientele in various realms of problem prevention and conflict resolution (based upon being a trained Mediator and CLASP Creator), primarily for Family/Juvenile Law and Criminal Defense (as well as Entertainment, Civil Litigation, Estate Planning/Administration, and Unemployment Compensation Law). When possible, you and I will work as a team to try to settle issues without the stress of trial, expense of depositions, unpredictability of court, etc. If your matter involves an area of law with which I am not familiar, I can direct you to a colleague with the necessary legal expertise; my Officer/Chair Positions in various Bar Associations and other contacts have proven to be very helpful. In the event of your having limited resources, I can even act as a “legal coach,” advising on an as-needed/a la carte/unbundled services basis for a reduced fee/no retainer. I am proud to have long ago earned “Distinguished BV” Martindale-Hubbell and “Superb 10.0” www.AVVO.com ratings plus BBB Approval several years ago. I even make old-fashioned house calls if needed.

Amazing Support and Communication!
To say that Jeff "saved the day" is a literal understatement! My divorce was pretty much at a standstill, and I was uncertain as to how to proceed forward. A friend suggested I contact Jeff, and he provided me with a caring, insightful consultation. Within a few weeks, I decided to speak to my spouse...
Thank you for the kind words. After the topsy-turvy election season and stressful waiting for results, that review was exactly what I needed to pick up my spirits. It is so nice to be appreciated!

Super lawyer

Estate Settlement
My brother and I hired Jeffrey at a very painful and sad time after the loss of our mother. He was very sympathetic and settled the estate in a very thorough , efficient and timely manner.

Professional, Friendly & Fast
Jeffrey Pollock did an outstanding job with our divorce. He was extremely timely, kind & proficient in all things 'divorce oriented'. After dealing with other Attorneys it was refreshing to find that Mr. Pollock's goal was NOT 'billable hours' ; rather a quick, painless, 'easy on the pockets', smoot...

Lack of professionalism
I hired Mr. Jeff Pollock to represent me in a civil case, unfortunately he was late arriving to court on the day of hearing. I was even more disappointed learning that the reason for his tardiness was that he incidentally accepted two appointments with possible time overlap, and my case was the one h...
Huh? I have no idea who this purported client thinks was his counsel, but I have only been hired for and litigated one Civil or Arbitration case in the last 8 months ... and it was a full day Non-Jury Trial that was my only court obligation of that entire week (and it settled for a very successful monetary figure in spite of having serious liability proof obstacles). Furthermore, I have made it a habit to turn down many cases (and decline many potentially lucrative clients) over my 30 years of practice so that I rarely if ever have had a time conflict, since a sole practitioner does not have the luxury of just asking a partner to cover for him. I do not appreciate some anonymous disgruntled hack(er) posting this drivel. (If this liar happens to be a Pharma Drug Sales Family Court client (whose two daughters refuse to speak to him) from over two years ago who fabricated complaints similar to this back then to get out of paying his final bill -- even though I got him a better E.D. settlement than Judge Bubash had previewed in chambers for him that he deserved under the law and whose fees I had already reduced as a too-kind, ill-advised courtesy to a mutual friend -- then he better remove this post immediately to avoid being sued for libel, not to mention apologize for skipping out on his well-documented financial obligation that even the opposing counsel agreed that I had fully earned.
