Child custody

Rebecca has been so kind and helpful throughout the entire process of my child custody case. If ever I had a question, she was there to answer it quickly and thoroughly. Custody cases are extremely daunting and can be quite scary at times, she was always there to give me the honest truth about my cas...e and what to do and not to do. I cannot put my appreciation into words well enough to describe the amount of weight she has lifted from my family’s shoulders. I will be recommending her services to others.

Represented in Custody Case

Our custody case was extremely complicated and included many twists and turns. We were moved by the fact that Rebecca was passionate about securing the safety, well being and best interests of the children involved. From our initial consultation with Rebecca to the outcome of the trial (8 months lat...er), she was our rock! She really listened, asked the pertinent questions, dug deep and researched tirelessly to develop a solid case for us that had positive results. Rebecca was always within reach if we had questions or concerns. She would answer our questions patiently and treated us with the utmost respect. For every step in the process, Rebecca communicated, advised and educated us so that we always knew what was coming next. She presented all of the possible outcomes with every step of the litigation so that we would know what to expect. Rebecca is a smart and astute lawyer who conducts herself with the utmost professionalism. She knows the law and imparts it correctly which is highly important for client representation. Rebecca is compassionate with her clients but tenacious and well prepared in the face of her opponents. She will not back down when confronted but does so in a professional but firm manner. Preparation for our trial was very arduous and we were only given 1 day in court (Covid restrictions allowed only video, nothing in person). This was a high stress position for any lawyer but Rebecca was well prepared and resolute which resulted in a good outcome for our family. I am glad that we had Rebecca on our side in such a stressful situation. She went above and beyond! I highly recommend Rebecca Canterbury!!

Perfect Job

I got a PFA against me from my wife. I am new to Usa and my hearing was 31st may. I tired many attorney and couldn't schedule an appointment with anyone since it was very close to my hearing date. Attorney Spivak scheduled an appointment on memorial day since my case was close to hearing. Rebecca an...d Spivak promised me that we will fight for this case to get dropped. I met Rebecca on court house and promised me you will be fine. 15 minutes after meeting my wife attorney Rebecca came back and shocked me with the good news that "Your PFA is dropped" with what ever agreement I proposed. It was worth waiting and really affordable compared to other attorneys. I really appreciate that Rebecca and spivak took my case and put 100% effort. One of the best PFA attorney around Pittsburgh area, Allegheny county. Thank you for the wonderful job Team.

Attorney Rebecca Canterbury is fierce.

I really lucked out when Attorney Rebecca Canterbury took me on as a client with only 3 days to prepare for my hearing. Very professional, knowledgeable and put me at ease right away. She went through my case with a fine tooth comb. She fought hard for me under extremely complicated circumstances. T...his lawyer went above and beyond to increase my chances for a win.
