On the day of the hearing he met me before hand and went over one last time what was going to happen. I didn't want to go inside due to the other side of the case, so he let me stay outside and only brought me in at his side when it was time. I made zero contact with the other party thanks to Jacob. From the beginning, I felt he was the right choice, and overall, he proved to be knowledgeable, professional, and effective in many key areas of my case. He responded to my initial inquiry within a d...ay or two and took the time to understand my situation, which involved a DUI arrest with a BAC of .055 and a background of anxiety and prescribed medication. While he did listen and offer sound advice, there were a few moments where I felt like he overlooked or dismissed certain details I believed were important to my defense. That said, he explained my legal options clearly and made sure I understood what I was up against. Throughout the case, Jacob was responsive and easy to reach by phone or email. He kept me updated and was transparent about expectations and possible outcomes. He built my defense primarily around my diagnosed anxiety disorder and the effect it had on my behavior during the arrest. Due to how overwhelmed I was by the entire situation, I didn’t actively participate in strategy decisions—and frankly, I wasn’t in the right mental space to do so. If he had pushed further to challenge the charge itself, I would have considered his performance perfect.
