I was facing some felony charges and dealing with a very aggressive detective in mesa AZ. I was asked to come down to the police station, and discuss a couple of things that would help clear my name up ; so i did what the detective ask me to do . When i arrived at the mesa police station i was put i...n a room and the detective ask me to talk to him , and i did . At this time i did not know any better , he stated that he just needed to here my side of the story . That he was here to help me out, and again clear up my name . I believe him ! We had talked for a couple of hours at the end of are conversation the detective told me that he was sure i was telling the truth . The detective ask me to do one more thing and it would be to take a lie detector test , I agreed . Again he stated this would really clear things up for all of us , and he would let me go . After a polygraph test , the detective told me to wait 15 min and he would come back with the results . I was telling the truth, and was confident that this would be it ! When the detective came back in the room, he started to play very dirty psychological mind game with me , told me that I had failed the test and i had lied about ever thing . He was going to tell ever one what a lier i was , even the judge . After this point he was playing me , and i had a very serious problem ! A couple of felony charges , plus dealing with a dishonest detective . At this point i had lost all trust in the justice system ! I was desperate for a attorney and a good one was hard to find . First it took for ever for some to call me back , and some where asking so much money I all most gave up ; ! was very blessed to find Nick Hentoff from a referral . This was a out standing attorney that helped turn my situation around . In court he was out standing and absolutely amazing , cleared my name ; plus charges where dropped ! I thank Nick for working with my finances as well , because no one is prepared for something like this .
