This lawyer must be the reason that lawyers get a bad name. As he took my retainer, he assured me he was going to remedy my legal situation. I now equate this to "stealing" my retainer because he had ME do critical legwork for the case, missed deadlines, did not keep numerous appointments ( I drove... over an hour to get to his office) avoided my phone calls, then after several months he sent a bill and said let's call it even and go our separate ways. He did no work after he took my retainer. Meanwhile, he missed the deadline for me to file. Stay away from this one, unless you want to get screwed.

Mr. Kopko has a highly comptent staff and pays close attention to detail. He has been my go-to lawyer for many years and my experience with him has been nothing but opposite of the negative comments on this page. Sometimes the honesty of the words "there is just nothing to your case" comes as offen...sive to some. On the contrary I tend to value honesty, all of which comes from his many years of experience.
